ARIFLEX Rubber Insulation Foam Tube & Foam Sheet

General Amiantit Group of Companies The Amiantit Group is a leading industrial organization that was established in Dammam, Saudi Arabia in year 1968. Today, the Group has global strength and a track record of growth-oriented success in manufacturing various kinds of pipes, joints, fittings, tanks, rubber and insulation products and related accessories. Strategic planning has made Amiantit an integral part of dynamic developments in countries across the globe and has put Amiantit on the world map with a name that is internationally recognized for manufacturing excellence and superior services. Amiantit has proactively taken steps to strengthen operations and diversify activities, and has invested strongly in new technologies, products and applications, in order to meet global challenges in its markets that extend throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Middle and Far East, Europe, South America. Amiantit Rubber Industries Ltd. (ARIL) Amiantit Rubber Industries Ltd. (ARIL) was established in 1978 as a member of Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company. The company's aim is providing quality rubber rings and seals to other group companies who are leading pipe manufacturers in and outside the Kingdom. ARIL also supplies custom-made rubber products for various applications in the building & construction, industrial and air conditioning industries. Since then company expanded it s manufacturing and marketing activities and today ARIL is considered being among the leading rubber products manufacturer in the gulf region. ARIL is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company since 1994. The Group has entered into a new era of growth and development through geographic expansion of manufacturing facilities, research, development and application of advance technologies, consultancy, engineering and operation services for water management projects, aimed at exploiting the available market opportunities and maintaining position, the quality and commitment of its people, and its excellent performance record, the Amiantit Group looks forwards to achieving its vision of global leadership. 1

ARIFLEX Rubber Insulation Foam Tube & Foam Sheet ARIFLEX Elastomeric Insulation foam tubes and foam sheets are manufactured by a continuous extrusion process. ARIFLEX tubes and sheets are specially designed to provide a close cell structure. Characteristics and Advantages Low thermal conductivity ( K value), makes it highly efficient and effective in the insulation of cooling or heating systems. The thermal blister close cell structure forms an impermeable layer which is in itself a good vapour barrier. It is suitable for application within the temperature range of -40 C to +125 C. The material has been specially compounded to selfextinguish in nature ARIFLEX has excellent ozone and ultraviolet resistance. It is CFC, asbestos, chlorine and fiber free and does not cause skin allergy. It is inert to most chemical agents and neutral to pipe metals. The extreme flexibility of the materials makes installation fast, easy and economical. It is able to withstand tearing, rough handling and severe site conditions. Compared to other types of insulation, ARIFLEX needs less installation space due to its low K-value. This results in overall thinner walls. The smooth surface of ARIFLEX material gives the finished installation a neat and aesthetic appearance. No coating is necessary for most indoor installations. Technology ARIL has the latest proceeding facilities to produce consintent products like ARIFLEX elastomeric insulation foam tubes and foam sheets that are meeting the international standards. A Rheometer ensures batch to batch consistency. Raw materials are imported from well renowned international manufacturers. ARIL has stock available at all times to meet the requirements of clients in a very short period. Our special technology produces tubing and sheeting whose chemical structure and chemical composition makes it resistant to microorganism, ozone oils and most solvents. The Internal and external skin permits exceptional resistance to water and vapour allowing the installer an easy application as the tubing and sheeting slips on the piping. 2

Quality Control & Technical Specification Quality Control ARIL manufactures ARIFLEX Rubber insulation Foam Tube and sheets to fine tolerance and consistency meeting national and international specifications. ARIL has well equipped laboratory for testing all the regular required tests to confirm the consistent quality of the Foam Tube and sheet like Rheological test, Density test etc. ARIL technical personnel on being given service condition and specification can develop suitable product from initial engineering, design, tooling, compounding processing and manufacturing to meet the requirement of the customer. All finished goods are 100% visually inspected. No special tools are needed. A factory applied coating of talc on the smooth inner surface allows ARIFLEX to slide easily over the pipe or tubing. When applied to existing lines, ARIFLEX foam tube is slit lengthwise and fitted into the place. A sharp knife is used for slitting. All seams and butt joints should be sealed with an approved contact adhesive, to make sure that both joint surfaces to be joined are coated with adhesive. Proper installtion is critical to the insulation s performance. It is important to properly size the insulation, push (don t pull) the insulation over the pipe or tubing and finally seal all seams, butt joints and open ends. 1 4 2 3 5 6 5
