STUDENT THEATRE AWARDS Bord Gáis Energy Student Theatre Awards: The Winners Revealed! After months of preparations and lots of sleepless nights, the finalists of the 2016 Bord Gáis Energy Student Theatre Awards finally took to the stage. 1,500 primary and secondary school students from across the country descended on the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre for the third annual awards ceremony. The big day saw RTÉ Two Tube stars Bláthnaid Treacy and Stephen Byrne host the Awards, with special guests Sabina Higgins, Amy Huberman, playwright Marina Carr and author Sarah Webb. Some of the shortlisted schools actually got to perform on the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre stage. A performance from boyband Hometown finished off a truly unforgettable day! STUDENT THEATRE AWARDS With more than 2,888 entries to the Bord Gáis Energy Student Theatre Awards, judges were blown away by the exceptional talent. After serious deliberation, the judges whittled the shortlist down, with the winners announced at the ceremony on May 5th. You don t need to be a technician to read your meter just follow these helpful steps. Your gas and electricity meters measure how much gas and electricity your household uses, respectively. Technicians from Gas Networks Ireland or ESB Networks will read your meters periodically so that you re billed for the right amount of gas or electricity that you ve used. When a meter reading isn t possible we estimate your bill. This is clearly marked with an E beside the figure on your bill. For a more accurate bill you can also submit an accurate meter reading yourself if you use an iphone and the My Bord Gáis Energy app, which you can download from the App Store for free. To submit a meter reading is easy: Download the My Bord Gáis Energy app from the app store.
