The Financials Audit Framework is used to track transactions in this course. They learn how to manage both capital and operating leases as well as define and maintain parent-child assets. This course discusses how to revalue assets including investment property and how to use the Fair Value Processing feature. They learn to use the Mass Change feature for assets. Integration of Asset Management with other PeopleSoft applications is explored. Through detailed activities, participants learn how to configure the system and process transactions for asset depreciation, allocations, capital acquisition planning and tracking, like-kind exchanges, and tax reporting.
