During material processing (cutting and stacking), the noise level can be over 85 dba depending on the ambient, type of steel, thickness, line speed, cuts number, building where the line is placed. If local, regional, State Laws and Regulations indicate a max level of noise, any intervention and/or device keeping the noise at the requested level should be discussed after line installation and commissioning. If expressly requested appropriate measurements will be taken to record the real values of noise level along the line which are mostly depending on the ambient where the line is installed. FIMI as supplier is not aware of local, regional, State Laws and regulations and the present quotation does not include measurements and provision of sound-proof cabinets or devices.

Preliminary quotation No. 16-024.00 pag. 4 A6 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION This quotation does not include any, study, measurement and equipment to comply with any eventual local, regional, State Laws, Rules and Regulations on type and max level of environmental pollution. A7 CE DECLARATION This quotation has to be intended as supply of single machines, which do not modify the performances of the original line but are an improvement of the quality, which can be achieved by the same line. In fact, the insertion of these machines doesn t modify neither the operating mode nor the performances of the original line. FIMI does not assume responsibilities or engagement on the operation of the other machines composing the line and on the technical performances of the whole line. For this supply, FIMI will issue certification according to ANNEX II B of Directive 2006/42/EC.

Preliminary quotation No. 16-024.00 pag. 5 Preliminary quotation No. 16-024.00 STACKER FOR SHEET max L3000 x W2100 mm ========================================= B SCOPE OF SUPPLY B01) No.1 STACKER FOR SHEET max L3000 x W2100 mm GENERAL - Operation: Piling the sheets in well order, the one on the other, until a stack of a given number of sheets is reached. During the stacking the sheets are accurately guided and properly aligned. Functioning mode : STOP function mode. Equipped with No. 1 box bomb door type. TECHNICAL DATA - Boxes number no. 1 - Length of stockable sheets mm min. 500 max. 3000 - Width of sheets mm min. 800 max. 2100 CONSTRUCTION Machine structure The machine structure is made of rolled steel profiles and plated welded and tightened with screws for its shipment. The frame design is BRIDGE type, so that the evacuation of bundles up to 3000 mm long done sideways on both sides. The two longitudinal beams which support all the components are each other connected only at the two far ends, so that the access inside the stacker for maintenance can be done from the top (bridge crane access) without dismounting the machine. The head pusher is fixed. Below the longitudinal beams are fixed the balls recirculation pads to which the bomb door device and the side pusher s device hang. Tail striker It consists of a steel plate fixed to the frame of the conveyor placed at the entry of the stacker.

Preliminary quotation No. 16-024.00 pag. 6 Side pushing device It consists of 2 chariots, 1 for each stacker side, individually driven, moving on the rails sustained by the structure, actuated by an electric gear box through pinions and racks, whose position is controlled by absolute rotative encoders. On each chariot are mounted two pneumatic cylinders, which push the sheets sideways by a continuous guide place in the upper side (pass-line zone). On the bottom part of each chariot (stacking zone) are fixed continuous guides which guide the falling sheets. Bomb door device It consists of 2 chariots, 1 for each stacker side, individually driven, moving on the rails sustained by the structure, actuated by an electric gear box through pinions and racks, whose position is controlled by an absolute rotative encoder. On each chariot is installed a group of motorized roll, each 3250 mm long, for the longitudinal transportation of the sheets. The rolls are actuated by an electric gearbox controlled by a pulse generator encoder and driven by a tooth belt. On each group of motorized rolls, between them, are installed transversal idle rolls which rise though hydraulic cylinders, allowing the sheets falling without scratches. STACKER FUNCTIONING DESCRIPTION Machine setting according to the bundles data The operator input the bundles data: o sheet length o sheet width Machine positioning according to the input data The bomb door devices move automatically to the input sheet width value The Side pusher devices move automatically to the input sheet width value Stacking operation The sheet arrives to the stacker and travels on the motorized rolls installed on the bomb door device. Once the sheet arrived to the right longitudinal position, the motorized rolls stop, stopping the sheets. A group of transversal idle rolls, also installed on the bomb door device, move raising the sheet. The side pushers close, centring the sheet. In the mean time the bomb door device opens The sheet falls down, guided sideways, on the platform (Buyer supply). The side pushers open. In the mean time the following sheet arrives, the head pusher closes on the fallen sheet and opens again.

Installation on board up to machine bottom and relevant materials Hydraulic and pneumatic electro-valves are grouped onto single stands mounted to the floor near the machine. Preliminary quotation No. 16-024.00 pag. 9 D1 FIMI STANDARD - VENDOR LIST All the hydraulic, pneumatic and electric components are dimensioned in accordance to FIMI standards and European and/or international norms and regulations UNI, CEI, EN, ISO, IEC, DIN, SAE. All the Suppliers are selected from a list of primary European manufactures pre qualified by FIMI after testing of their equipment in our workshop and compliance with FIMI required performances. FIMI reserve the right to choose one of the Suppliers depending on required technical specifications, delivery time, and specific conditions. In the case Customer/Buyer imposes a specific supplier and/or different standards, FIMI reserves the right to apply an additional cost to be calculated in accordance. FIMI Vendor list will be delivered to the customer during the design phase together with standard documentation.
