Automated Information Management Tools to Support Growth Management and Transportation Analyses Allen Ibaugh, Space Imaging Simone Babb, FDOT
Our TAIMS (Transportation Automated Information Management System) website currently used by District 5 of Florida s Dept of Transportation uses database design and systems integration of over 80 GIS layers from various sources in multiple formats. Design and development of central repository to store spatial and attribute data with access via a browserbased interface for transportation planning and analysis. TAIMS Website
Design and development of a spatial data clearinghouse for state, regional, and local government data sharing. Database design to facilitate multiple scales and levels of GIS data to support regional and local level analysis. Conversion of spatial and attribute data to fit statewide and regional applications.
