Overview! Bangladesh is a highly populated with about 150 million within the area of about 144 thousand square kilometers.! Dhaka is the capital of the country with a popula?on of about 15 million. Last year WHO ranked 23 rd for the worst air quality situa?on along with other two ci?es in Bangladesh, Narayanganj (17 th ) and Gazipur (21 st ).! Many sources for air pollu?ons in Bangladesh: Traffics emission and Jam, industries, construc?on ac?vi?es, power plant, biomass burning, brick kilns, and winter long range transport, etc.! Thousands of people are suffering due to the air pollu?on problems; more than 20 thousands people were died each year in Bangladesh due to air pollu?on problems. Emission and Air Quality in Asian Monsoon Region, 2 nd ACAM Workshop,Bangkok, Thailand, 8-10 June, 2015

The year of Bangladesh can be divided into four seasons: Pre- monsoon (March- May) Monsoon (June- September) Post monsoon (October- November) Winter (December- February) The average temperatures are varying Between 8 o C and 25 o C in winter Between 25 o C and 38 o C in summer

Conclusion! Very high concentra?ons of par?culate mamers (PM 2.5 ) in Urban Dhaka.! Night?me PM 2.5 mass is about double than Day?me in Urban Dhaka.! There is no significant changes in the water soluble ions concentra?ons compared than 10 years back study.! AOD concentra?ons at the Island Bhola is one of the highest as a rural background loca?on in the World during winter?me.! There are some other sources contributed in BC concentra?on except traffic during Winter.
