INTEGRATED PRODUCT DESIGN A SOLAR POWERED VEHICLE The solar challenge offers a unique learning experience by combining design, construction and administration of a world-class solar race team with an intensive inter-disciplinary approach. COLLABORATIVE INNOVATION DESIGN /BUILD COLLABORATION ACROSS THREE CONTINENTS The aim of this project was to create a functional 3D model of an historic Bleriot XI aircraft in order to manufacture it. Based on drawings from 1917 and through collaboration among educational institutions in France, Brazil and India, students were able to create a 3D model of the airplane and solve potential problems during assembly of the virtual model using CATIA, DELMIA and ENOVIA.
