Kyrgyz Republic joined to Agenda 2030 in September 2015: Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Agenda contains 17 goals and 169 targets 2

Experience of the NSC in monitoring of strategic programs Regular monitoring of national development programs (SDC, NSRP) partially including MDD indicators: - Comprehensive development framework of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2010 (The Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Repyblic, August 23, 2001, UP # 259 - The 2003-2005 National Strategy for poverty reduction, approved by Regulation of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, May 8, 2003, # 269 - The Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on the 2009-2011 National Strategy for Development, March 31, 2009, # 183 7

MDG monitoring Kyrgyz signed to MDGs in 2000 and NSC was assigned to prepare statistical database for MDG monitoring Within the Program of statistical works (annual), the NSC annually assigned for maintaining of the Monitoring of MDG indicators (45 out of 53). Established MDG database with methodological reference to indicators (since 1990) including gender disaggregation. 8

Experience of the NSC in monitoring of strategic programs In 2013г. NSC approved system of indicators for monitoring of the National strategy of sustainable development including MDGs Strategy for Development of Statistics for 2013-2017гг. Includes activities related to monitoring of NSSD and development of SD indicators Interaction with state agencies/ ministries, international organizations and civil society (preparation of national reports, MDG repots etc). 10
