12 State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine supports the introduction of the concept of close to nature forest management promotes the more widespread use of selective felling and conversion cuts using the environmentallysound harvesting equipment and technologies protocol and Action Plan on sustainable forest management in the framework of Carpathian Convention close to nature forestry should be increasingly introduced in Ukraine as it is done in European countries
