The Right Choice for Stucco.

Great Products from El Rey. With manufacturing facilities in Albuquerque, NM, and Colorado Springs, CO, El Rey Stucco offers one of the area s most complete and readily available lines of stucco and stucco-related materials. With nearly 40 years of experience backed by stringent quality controls and factorytrained technicians, you re assured of superior results and lasting satisfaction each time you use El Rey products. Three-coat commercial construction FastWall One Coat Stucco Less labor-intensive to apply than traditional three coat stucco applications, El Rey FastWall is a high-quality, factory-formulated, one coat portland cement stucco available in concentrate or sanded versions. Reinforced with fibers, it is designed for use as a single basecoat finished with a colored cement or acrylic-based stucco finish coat. Can be applied directly over concrete and masonry, and with lathing over wood-based sheathing, gypsum-based sheathing, asphalt-impregnated sheathing or EPS and XPS foam sheathing. Improves crack resistance and stucco performance when used with Krak- Master TM fiberglass mesh. Allows drainage when installed with code-conforming, weather-resistive barrier and sheathing assembly. Concrete/masonry, code-conforming exterior grade sheathing such as gypsum-based sheathing, wood-based sheathing, XPS or EPS, or asphalt-impregnated sheathing. Protects the substrate from incidental moisture. See local codes for requirements. Used to attach and support the One Coat base to approved substrates and wall assemblies. See local codes for requirements. Applied to a minimum of 3/8 inch (10mm) thickness (see Reference Standards Summary). Crack resistance can be improved by embedding Krak-Master woven fiberglass mesh. (Acrylic finishes only) Surface preparation to improve better bonding, color consistency and finish coverage, and to consolidate and harden concrete/masonry surfaces. (Acrylic finishes only) Surface preparation to enforce better bonding ability, ensuring color consistency and improving finish coverage. Designed to provide color and texture to the exterior surface. Cementitious and acrylic stucco finishes are available. 1

Fiber-47 TM Three Coat Stucco Fiber-47 is a fibered-cement scratch and brown coat product used for both basecoats in a three coat system with a cement or acrylic-based finish. Replacing job-site scratch and brown coat mixes, it provides both convenience and versatility that make it the leading choice for many of today s construction and building applications. Can be applied directly over concrete or masonry substrates. When installed according to code guidelines, allows for egress of incidental moisture. Double back application lets both scratch and brown coats be applied as soon as the scratch coat is firm enough to support the weight of the brown coat. Code-conforming assembly offers a wide range of uses and fire protection ratings. Can be used as a component of a one-hour fire resistive assembly when installed according to code guidelines. Substrate: Concrete/masonry, code-conforming exterior grade sheathing such as gypsum-based sheathing, wood-based sheathing, XPS or EPS, or asphaltimpregnated sheathing. Weather-resistive barrier: Protects the substrate from incidental moisture. See local codes for requirements. Lath: Used to attach and support the Fiber-47 basecoat to approved substrates and wall assemblies. See local codes for requirements. Fiber-47: Serves as scratch and brown coats. Crack resistance can be improved by embedding Krak-Master woven fiberglass mesh into the brown coat. Conditioner: (Acrylic finishes only) Surface preparation to improve better bonding, color consistency and finish coverage, and to consolidate and harden concrete/masonry surfaces. Primer: (Acrylic finishes only) Surface preparation to enforce better bonding ability, ensuring color consistency and improving finish coverage. Finish: Designed to provide color and texture to the exterior surface. Cementitious and acrylic stucco finishes are available. 2

Perma-Flex finishes are available in 3 grades depending on the job requirements: Perma-Flex ULTRA Elastomeric, Perma-Flex LASTIC and Perma-Flex DPR. Flashing membrane: self-sealing rubberized asphalt membrane that functions as a moisture and air barrier, suitable for application with El Rey base coats. Vented Track: a neat termination of the assembly. Insul-Flex VR Drainage Developed for commercial construction Offers high performance moisture control Exceeds ICC-ES 235 criteria for drainage efficiency Easier to install than comparable assemblies Fast adhesive attachment Steel or Wood frame Substrate: fiber-faced gypsum or cement board. Roll-on Weather Barrier: a 100% acrylic elastomeric weather-resistive barrier membrane that can be rolled, brushed, or spray applied over approved substrates. Adhesive (applied in Vertical Ribbons): to bond EPS to substrate and provide an effective drainage channel. EPS Insulation Board: 1lb. density expanded polystyrene board (EPS) available in various thicknesses. Insul-Bond L or Insul-Bond P basecoat: a polymer-based cementitious basecoat. Krak-Master Mesh (embedded in basecoat): a woven fiberglass mesh for reinforcing El Rey basecoats. Primer: an acrylic-based tintable primer to improve appearance and performance of assembly. Finish the job the El Rey way. El Rey stucco provides the perfect foundation for the application of El Rey factory formulated finishes. While Fiber-47 three coat and FastWall one coat accept almost any type of finish, Insul-Flex EIFS are finished with Perma-Flex acrylic finishes. Float Textured El Rey Exterior Stucco Cementitious Finishes More affordable than acrylic-based finishes for initial construction as well as recoating, El Rey Exterior Stucco finishes gradually become richer over time, adding character and color depth to new construction. A standard selection of 30 standard colors. All finishes are vapor permeable, allowing moisture vapor to evaporate. Crown Seal, a breathable water repellent, can be applied to reduce staining and damage from freeze-thaw cycles. El Rey Perma-Flex 100% Acrylic-Based Finishes Perma-Flex finishes offer greater elasticity and color consistency than cementitious stucco finishes. As a result, they can cover minor cracks, resist fading, and appear new for many years following application. Smooth Medium Fine Coarse Perma-Flex is a tintable acrylic finish that resembles traditional stucco and is available in an infinite number of colors and up to 6 textures. Perma-Flex finishes are available in 3 grades depending on the job requirements: Perma-Flex ULTRA Elastomeric Perma-Flex LASTIC Perma-Flex DPR Swirl Fine Swirl Coarse 5

The El Rey Stucco Story El Rey Stucco was established in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1968 to provide a local manufacturing source for stucco materials. Providing superior selection and availability at substantial savings over products manufactured elsewhere, El Rey grew rapidly as the demand for stucco grew along with it. In 1986, El Rey added a second manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado, which also became its main distribution center. Today, the small company that started with just six colors has become one of the largest stucco manufacturers in the Southwest with over 400 standard items. El Rey Stucco is a brand of Parex USA, Inc., the largest stucco manufacturer in the US., operating manufacturing facilities across the U.S. Together, these resources strengthen the El Rey commitment to being the single, most complete source of stucco wall products in the Southwest.
