1. OBJECTIVE The company recognizes the efficacy of employees personal networks in sourcing appropriate candidates for available positions and provides a referral bonus in appreciation of such efforts To promote the recommendation of suitable candidates by employees for full time employment with Hexaware in India 2. SCOPE This policy is applicable to all active Hexaware IT employees based out of India 3. POLICY COMMENCEMENT & VALIDITY The policy shall come in to force from 01-Oct-2017 and shall remain in force till modified or revoked by the organization. 4. General Guidelines 4.1 The referring employee must be on the rolls of Hexaware at the time of submitting the referral as well as at the time of payment of the reward. 4.2 The referring employee must be a full time employee. 4.3 Referrals shall be entertained only for full time positions, and not retainer / contract positions. 4.4 Referrals shall not be entertained for vacancies at grade G/S 11 and above. 4.5 Referrals shall not be entertained for support functions unless specified from time to time. Such exceptions will need an approval from the CPO. 4.6 If an employee refers a relative, it has to be called out to the relevant hiring manager at the time of making the referral and needs to be approved by the Corporate HR. 4.6.1 A referred candidate who is a relative cannot have a reporting relationship to the referring employee or be part of the same team/project. Any indirect reporting also needs specific approval from Corporate HR 4.6.2 The referring employee or his subordinates should not form part of the interview panel / review panel for fulfilling that position Hexaware Technologies Limited. Note: In the context of the present policy, the term relatives is used to refer to any person who has a close relation with an employee. Close relation refers to relation by blood or marriage. This includes: parents, step-parents, grandparents, in-laws, spouses, children, stepchildren, adoptive children, grandchildren, siblings, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. 5. Eligibility Criteria The referred candidate should fulfill the following criteria: Should have at least one year of relevant experience Should not be part of the existing database Should not be an ex-employee who has quit Hexaware within the previous 12 months 6. Referral Bonus Payouts If the referred candidate is successful in obtaining a position at Hexaware, referral bonus will be paid as per the details below: Grade at which candidate is selected Referral bonus payable to employee (INR) G/S2 10,000 G/S3 - G/S4 15,000 G/S5 - G/S6 30,000 G/S7 - G/S8 45,000 G/S9 - G/S10 60,000 7. Referral Bonus Payout Guidelines The referral bonus will be paid within 1 month of the referred candidate joining the organization. If the referring employee/ referred candidate leave the organization within 6 months of the referred candidate joining the organization, the referral bonus would be recovered from the referring employee. Additional bonus of INR 10,000 will be paid to employees for every 3 successful referrals in a calendar year, i.e. for every 3 referred candidates who join the organization within a calendar year. Only India based employees can avail of this additional bonus. Payment of the additional bonus will be made along with every 3 rd successful referral in a calendar year. All employee referral bonuses are taxable. Referral bonus shall be paid out in accordance with the referral policy of the region in which the candidate is hired. The payment will be in the currency of the payroll location of the referring employee at the time of payout. Hexaware Technologies Limited. Ver 2.0 Page 5 of 6

An employee is eligible for referral bonus even if the referred candidate has been hired for a different position. If duplicate referrals occur, the first referral received (based on the date and time of submission) will be eligible for payment. If a joint referral is made (i.e. multiple referrals for the same candidate received at the same time), the referral bonus will be split evenly among the referring employees. All resumes received will be lodged in the centralized repository for use by the recruitment team and shall be valid for a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of the resume. Post 6 months, the resume shall become part of the recruiter database and the employee shall not be eligible for any referral fee for that candidate. The employee referral program is managed by the Recruitment and HR departments. Referral bonus payouts shall be approved by the respective hiring manager, and in his/her absence, the Global Recruitment Head or the CPO. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Global Recruitment Head/CPO will be final. Should the program be discontinued or modified, any in-process referrals will be reviewed for eligibility on an individual basis. 8. Waiver / Exception process All employees are expected to adhere to the above guidelines. Any deviation from the policy will need specific approval from Global Recruitment Head / CPO. * Hexaware reserves the right to update/revoke this policy at any time with proper communication.
