Inspiring the next generation Every year during National Apprenticeship Week, I speak to around 200 students, telling them about my journey and how an apprenticeship can help them. When they apply for lending, I have to assess whether or not there s a risk and if it s beneficial for the bank to lend the company funds. It s a huge responsibility. Hot off the press LBG gave me the chance to run my own publication with a colleague. Every month we d produce a team magazine all about our colleagues, what we were doing and how we were improving. It was very creative and LBG were really encouraging! Leading from the front My manager recently encouraged me to lead parts of a meeting with an international client. I talked to them about how they could trade internationally using a certain tool. They were amazed at how we could help, and thanks to my team and me, they want to use the tool for their business.
