Step 4: Report the spill SWRCB (the State Water Resources Board, San Francisco Region) report no less than two hours after the overflow Various local agencies, depending on where the overflow happened CIWQS (the California Integrated Water Quality System) within three days

Step 5: Complete the job Once the Hach test comes back clear (0.2 ppm ammonia), the flushing and pumping can stop and all the equipment can be removed Signs stay up until we get final results from our lab
