History With over 100 years history, LAPP Insulators delivers power supply around the world. Beeing technology leaders in the market, the company proudly presented for the first time in 1967, it s silicone-synthetic-insulators, RODURFLEX, which had great success in the market. The today medium-sized company has its origins in the region of Upper Franconia and comes by, among others, from the renowned porcelain Ph. Rosenthal & Co.. In the meanwhile the insulators from LAPP stand the test of time in more than 70 countries in all climate zones of the world. The trust of customers since more than 100 years is dedicated to the highly qualificated staff. Their qualification, motivation and willingness to perform is the most valuable capital of the company, what will secure the future production of the worldwide appreciated products of LAPP Insulators.

About Lapp InsulatoRS ALUMINA LAPP Alumina manufactures customized ceramicmetals components from high-performance material. In the field of semiconductor housings from 4 to 6 inches, LAPP produces more than 80% of the world market demand and series soldering process more than 300,000 parts per year. The core technologies like dry-pressing, MoMn-metallizing, passive-brazing in a contineous kiln and electroplating were used to produce products for new business areas like Vacuum-, Laser-, X-Ray- and Measurement technique. The product portfolio is completed by support insulators and feedthroughs made from C130 (Porcelain) and C220 (Steatite) for the range up to 100 kv.

neues Bild kommt Materials LAPP Insulators Alumina has a long-term experience in the field of electric insulating materials. Common materials like Steatite (C220), Quartz (C110) and Clay (C130) as well as aluminas with 96% (C795)/99,7%(C799) purity are applied. Due the whole in-house production chain from the raw powder to the granulate LAPP is able to adjust materials properties like dielectric strength and permittivity in a broad bandwith. l Alumina 96%/ 99,7%/ 99,99% purity l Steatite (C 220) C130, C110

Quality management LAPP maintains a quality management system according to DIN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and owns in addition the OHRIS certification for operational and plant safety. At the site Redwitz LAPP has internal test possibilities for insulators till 100kV; in the High-voltage house in Selb insulators could be tested till 2,1 million volts in electric strength. Internal processes are conducted in accordance to ISO 16949. This concerns process-fmea (Failure-mode and effect analysis) and process capabilities to offer a maximum product safety to our customers.
