Developed a social protection paper for CARE HQ and field offices outlining key concepts and debates surrounding social protection and CARE s role and position on this issue. Produced and disseminated a paper on the role of NGOs in Social Protection through DFID s Regional Hunger & Vulnerability Programme network. Provided technical support to CARE country offices on social protection responses (including influencing development of national policies and programmes) in Zambia, Lesotho and Malawi. Team member to develop decision making tool around market analysis and cash transfers, with technical input from Erin Lentz.
