High performance pre-emergent weed control for an array of crops. Micro-encapsulated, water based formulation Pre-emergent control of most annual grasses and troublesome small-seeded broadleaf weeds Excellent surface stability Perfect component for a pre-emergent resistance management program Effective residual control - matching Prowl H 2 O in many trials Expansive label over 90 approved crop uses New and improved Satellite HydroCap herbicide from UPI provides you a microencapsulated pre-emergent weed control option for a multitude of crops. Satellite HydroCap targets annual grasses and troublesome smallseeded broadleaf weeds such as pigweed, lambsquarter, waterhemp and kochia before they even emerge. As one of only two micro-encapsulated options in this chemical class, UPI is committed to bringing you a reliable supply of the herbicide volume you need when you need it. Our upgraded formulation provides users with excellent mixing characteristics and good shelf life. By encapsulating the active ingredient in Satellite HydroCap, the product is able to release and move into the weed seed zone when sufficient moisture is available. Formulation Capsule Suspension (CS) WSSA Mode of Action Classification Group 3 - seedling root growth inhibitor Herbicide Resistance Classification WSSA Group 3 Pack Sizes 2 x 2.5 gal jugs 260 gal totes Bulk (subject to conditions of Bulk Handling Agreement)

Sugarcane Apply by ground or air. Pre-emergent: Apply through layby to plant, or ratoon sugarcane. Ratoon Sugarcane: Must be lightly shaved in early spring to remove the old stubble before incorporation over the line of sugarcane is possible. Carefully adjust equipment to incorporate without causing excessive damage to emerging shoots. Additional use as Fallow Ground Application in Louisiana: Apply prior to weed germination for control of annual grasses. If necessary, control weeds that have emerged prior to application with a postemergent herbicide and/or mechanical cultivation. After cultivating and forming beds in the spring, apply 2.6 quarts per acre using ground equipment. Ensure sugarcane beds are free of trash or clods at the time of application. If sufficient rainfall (1/2 to 3/4 inch) has not occurred within 7 days of application, perform a shallow incorporation (1-2 inches) with an additional pass of a cultivator set to cut 2-3 inches deep. A minimum interval of 60-days between application and planting of sugarcane is required or crop injury may occur. Non-Cropped Water Drainage Areas Application in Louisiana: Apply prior to weed germination to non-irrigated, non-cropped water drainage areas (ditchbanks) adjacent to sugarcane fields. If necessary, control weeds that have emerged prior to a Satellite HydroCap application with postemergent herbicides and/or mechanical cultivation. Apply 2.6 to 3.5 quarts per acre using ground equipment. DO NOT apply below the high water mark or when water is present in the drainage area (ditchbank). Use Rates Per Acre Using less than 11 gallons of water as a carrier when applying for weed control. Via aerial application at close-in because complete and uniform coverage cannot be obtained. Greater than 12.5 pts/acre per growing season. Through any type of irrigation system. PHI = 90 days Use Area All States (except Hawaii) Muck Soils (Florida Only) Hawaii Broadcast Rate pts/a pts/a pts/a Use the high rate when no mechanical incorporation is planned; heavy weed populations are anticipated; itchgrass infestation is anticipated; no shaving is planned; or in heavy clay soils. Do not graze treated fields or feed treated forage or fodder to livestock

Cotton Apply by ground, air, or chemigation in conventional, minimum, stale seedbed, or no-till tillage systems. May be applied using pre-plant surface, pre-plant incorporated, pre-emergent, layby, or post-emergent methods. Pre-plant surface, pre-emergence, layby and post-emergence treatments are most effective in controlling weeds when adequate rainfall or overhead irrigation is received after application. A shallow cultivation is recommended if soil crusting or soil compaction occurs. The use of a post-emergence herbicide treatment may be required to control weed escapes at planting or following cotton emergence. Satellite HydroCap will not control weeds that are emerged at time of application. Pre-plant Surface: Apply up to 15 days prior to planting. Pre-plant Incorporated: Apply up to 60 days prior to planting. Incorporate after application. Pre-emergent Application: Apply at planting or up to 2 days after planting to a seedbed that is firm and free of clods. Note Satellite HydroCap can be applied preplant incorporated followed by pre-emergent. Please see label. Layby Application (at last cultivation): Apply directly to the soil between rows as a directed spray following the last normal cultivation (layby). Layby applications can be applied in cotton previously treated with Satellite HydroCap or other herbicides registered for use on cotton. Post-emergent Application: Apply by ground or air as a broadcast over-the-top post-emergence application in cotton. Not for use in California, except as directed in supplemental labels. Fall Application: Apply after October 15, up to 140 days prior to planting, in AZ, CA, LA, MS, NM, OK, and TX at a broadcast rate of pints per acre on fine soils. Satellite HydroCap will also suppress Russian Thistle in the state of Arizona. Use Rates Per Acre Pre-plant, Pre-emergent and Layby Applications Soil Texture Conventional or Minimum Tillage no-till** Coarse * pts/a 2.0 pts/a Medium 2.0 pts/a 3.0 pts/a Fine 3.0 pts/a 4.0 pts/a *Do not exceed 1.6 pts/a on coarse soils in California. **Do not use on soils with more than 3% organic matter. Post-emergent Applications *Do not exceed 1.6 pts/a on coarse soils in California. See label for specific directions for use as a post-emergent application in tank mixtures with herbicides related to various herbicide tolerant varieties (eg. Roundup Ready (glyphosate), LibertyLink (glufosinate). DO NOT tank mix and apply post-emergence with Dual (or any herbicides containing metolachlor), Staple, Sequence, Caparol, or Cotoran. For tank mix programs and sequential applications, refer to the Tank Mix Section of the label. Greater than 4.2 pts/acre/season for combined preplant/preemergent and postemergent applications. Greater than 2.0 pts/acre for postemergent use. In no-till systems in California. PHI = 60 days In treated cotton fields, forage may be fed to or grazed by livestock.

Grapes (bearing and non-bearing) Grapes Wine Raisin Table Apply by ground, chemigation, flood, flooded basin, or gravity flow irrigation systems. Apply in a single application or sequentially with an interval of 30 days or more. When applying to grapes, apply anytime after fall harvest, during winter dormancy, and in the spring. Ground Applications Bearing Apply as a broadcast or banded treatment using ground equipment before weed germination. Apply the spray directly to the ground beneath the grapevines or trees and/or in the areas between rows. Non-bearing Apply before or after transplanting. Do not apply over-the-top of grapevines or trees with leaves or buds or fruit. Contact with leaves, shoots, or buds by the spray mixture may cause injury. Application Methods: Surface incorporated Surface pre-emergent Application Methods: Pre-plant surface: Uniformly apply with ground equipment prior to transplanting. Avoid root contact with treated soil as injury may occur. Pre-plant incorporated: Apply prior to transplanting but before weeds germinate. Incorporate to a depth of 1-2 inches. Avoid root contact with treated soil as injury may occur. Pre-emergence: Apply as a broadcast or banded treatment. See label for chemigation, flood, flooded basin and gravity flow irrigation system use instructions. Recommended Use Rate: Apply quarts per acre. Use the highest rate for longest residual control. By air. Greater than 6.3 qts/acre per year. To newly seeded tree nut nursery stock. PHI: 90 days for grapes. Do not feed, forage or graze livestock in treated vineyards or orchards. For Newly Transplanted and One-year-old Grapevines: Apply only to dormant grapevines. Do not apply to newly transplanted trees or vines until ground has settled and no cracks are present. Application after buds have started to swell may result in leaf distortion.

Corn (Field Corn, Field Seed, Popcorn, Pop Seed, Fresh Sweet Corn) Apply by ground, air, or chemigation. May be applied pre-emergent or post-emergent in a conventional, minimum, or no-tillage system. Can also be applied using post-emergent incorporated (CULTI SPRAY) method. Plant corn at least 1.5 inches deep and completely cover with soil regardless of tillage system. Pre-emergent Application: Apply after planting, before weed germination and crop emergence. Post-emergent Application: Apply to pop, seed, and fresh sweet corn that is between inches tall, or field corn up to 30 inches tall, or V8 growth stage (whichever is more restrictive). If the corn canopy prevents applications from reaching the soil, use drop nozzles and apply as a directed spray. CULTI-SPRAY (field corn only): Apply alone or with atrazine. Apply when field corn is at least 4 inches tall. If using atrazine, apply before corn reaches 12 inches in height. Do not exceed 1.2 lbs of ai/acre of atrazine as specified on the atrazine label. Additional weeds controlled with this application are wild proso millet and shattercane. May be applied sequentially in a single season as long as the total use rate in a single crop season does not exceed the highest labeled rate per acre for any given soil type. Use Rates Per Acre Pre-emergent or Post-emergent Applications organic Matter Soil Texture <1.5% 1.5% to 3.0% >3.0% Coarse 2.0 pts/a 3.0 pts/a 3.0 pts/a Medium 3.0 pts/a 3.0 pts/a 4.0 pts/a Fine 3.0 pts/a 4.0 pts/a 4.0 pts/a CULTI-SPRAY Applications Field Corn Only Soil Texture Southern States* Northern States* Coarse 1.5 pts/a 2.0 pts/a Medium 2.0 pts/a 3.0 pts/a Fine 3.0 pts/a 3.0 pts/a *See label for map of states. PHI = 0 days Livestock can graze or be fed forage from treated corn after 21 days following application.

PEANUTS Apply by ground, air, or chemigation. Apply Satellite HydroCap pre-plant incorporated in peanuts and applied pre-emergent to peanuts grown under overhead irrigation. DO NOT use in California. Pre-plant Incorporated: Apply up to 60 days prior to planting and incorporate. Pre-emergent: Apply at planting or up to 2 days after planting and before crop emergence. To prevent decreased crop pegging, adequate incorporation must be achieved by applying a minimum of 0.75 inches of overhead irrigation or rainfall within 48 hours of application. Chemigation Applications: Apply Satellite HydroCap through sprinkler irrigation systems. Follow all directions, special instructions and precautions about chemigation in the Spraying Instructions section of this label. Region New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas Other peanut growing states* Rate pts/a 2.0 pts/a * For heavy weed infestations, especially of Texas panicum, up to 3.2 pts/a of Satellite HydroCap herbicide can be used in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Alfalfa and Use Rates: Apply by ground, air, chemigation, flood, floodbasin, gravity flow irrigation systems, or on dry bulk fertilizer. Established Alfalfa for Forage/Hay: This is alfalfa planted in the fall or spring which has gone through a first cutting/mowing. Apply in a single or sequential application at a rate of 1.1 to 4.2 quarts per acre prior to weed germination. See label for further application timings. Applications should be made prior to the alfalfa reaching 6-inches in regrowth. Established Alfalfa Grown for Seed Production: This is alfalfa planted in the fall or spring which has gone through a summer season of cutting/mowing. Apply at a broadcast rate of quarts per acre prior to weed emergence. Apply to dormant established alfalfa or before alfalfa exceeds 10-inches in height after first cutting/mowing. Seedling Alfalfa: This is alfalfa planted in the fall or spring which has not gone through a cutting/mowing. Apply at a broadcast rate of pints per acre prior to weed germination. Apply when seedling alfalfa has reached the second trifoliate stage of growth. Make applications prior to the alfalfa reaching 6-inches in growth. Alfalfa Stand Establishment: Apply at a broadcast rate of pints per acre as a preplant incorporated (top 2-3 inches of final seedbed prior to planting) or preemergence treatment in direct-seeded alfalfa. Use the lower rate on coarse texture soil in lower rainfall areas. See label for chemigation, flood, floodbasin, gravity flow irrigation system application instructions. Notes: Do not apply greater than 4.2 qts/acre in a single application. Do not exceed 4.2 qts/acre in any one-crop season. Some stunting and chlorosis of the alfalfa may occur with postemergent applications. Applications made after the alfalfa exceeds 6-inches in height may result in poor weed control because of possible reduced spray coverage in the soil. PHI: Forage or Hay with application rate of 2.1 qts/acre or less: 28 days Forage or Hay with application rate of 2.1 qts/acre or greater: 50 days Seed Alfalfa: 90 days Contact your local UPI sales representative or distributor, call or visit to learn more.
