15 First Experience Initial studies aimed at understanding CEFO concepts Objectives of the first trial studies were: To investigate the acceptance of the CEFO environment (Hardware and Software) by users To investigate the strengths and weaknesses of the CEFO main software Virtual Satellite To gain further insights into the processes involved in the system design process applying concurrent engineering concepts To assess the suitability of available domain specific tools and their interfaces to the CEFO main software To perform a trade-off between two mission architectures by assessing the most relevant aspects.
