3 Product Specifications and Materials Allied Steel Flo-Coat, Gatorshield & Flo-Form Angles Our galvanized steel tubing/angles offer the following advantages over other zinc products... Painting Tube and angles are easily painted or powder coated Our clear topcoat not only reduces the general corrosion rate of the zinc but also acts as a primer for painting or powder coating. Extensive pre-cleaning is unnecessary, and excellent adhesion is achieved, even at high baking temperatures. Appearance Tube/ Angle is shinier and smoother than any competitive product on the market. Strength - Cold-forming and quenching process creates greater yield and tensile strength than competitive products. Corrosion Resistance Tube/Angle exhibits greater corrosion resistance than competitors products because the triple coat process passivates the zinc to slow down the white rust growth process, and our clear topcoat then "seals in" the protection. Our triple coat process resists rust longer than any pregalvanized (G-60, G-90, or G- 115) or zinc electroplated tubing. Fabricating - Tubing is easily bent, swaged, and wall-to-wall flattened without deformation of our triple coat protection. In addition, our tubing will not flake or chip when fabricated like competitive products or hot dipped products. Welding - Tubing is easily welded in the same manner as welding bare steel. Our tubing contains the lowest lead content achievable (99.99% pure zinc); so lead oxide fumes generated during welding are kept to an absolute minimum. Roto-moulded Plastic All plastic components are made with a polyethylene plastic and treated with ultra violet stabilizer. All components shall meet standard ASTM 1248, type 2, class A, category 3, and federal specifications LP- 390 type 1, class M, grade 2. Color shall be integral, not applied. HDPE Plastic (1 or 2 color) ¾ thick compression moulded, UV stabilized, high density polyethylene plastic. Color shall be integral, not applied.

Metal Preparation for Powder Coat Paint Finish Metal preparation for powder coat paint finish consists of either a multiple shower system including a rust-prohibitive iron phosphate wash or sandblasting. Parts are free of excess weld splatter. Powder Coating Powder Coating Polyester dry powder-coating is electrostatically applied and oven cured at 392 F (200 C) for 10 minutes. Finished membrane is 3-5 mil ( mm) and includes additives for resistance to ultraviolet (U.V.) degradation. The powder coating paint is also lead and cadmium free. Stainless Steel Slides Chute is manufactured from 16 gauge stainless steel, the side walls are manufactured from 3/16 thick stainless Steel and 1 OD 3/16 stainless steel tubing. Components Attachments Kan-Go-ROo uses a combination of both clamp and clamp free on there playground equipment. Clamp System: Superior quality clamp system. Cast aluminum clamps are clamped to the 3 ½ upper posts.

5 Bolt-through system. Components are bolted directly to the 3 ½ upper posts, and separated with a plastic spacer that reduces friction between the components and the post. Playground Deck - Large Standard Square Decks (48 X 48 ) More Space and Value Decks are fabricated from steel plate and expended metals. After being welded together, it shall be dipped in a textured vinyl chloride to give a rubber finish. Standard square deck size: 48 (1219 mm) x 48 (1219 mm). Stairs/Transfer Stations Constructed of 3/16 TH steel plate and expanded metal with a finish plastisol coating. Accessible Ramp Slope 1:12 with Guardrail equivalent to 12 Ramp with Safety Rails. Constructed of 3/16 TH steel plate and expanded metal with a finish plastisol coating. Plastisol Coating Vinyl Plastisol (rubber finish) UV Resistant 90 to 125 mils Hardware and Fasteners All hardware and fasteners are treated to resist corrosion; Hardware is hot-dip galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum or zinc plated. Hardware and fasteners are tamper resistant unless otherwise specified. All necessary hardware and fasteners are provided. Cable Specifications for 16 mm Hercules Rope Hercules 16 mm diameter rope is constructed of six high strength strands of steel wire and synthetic fiber laid over a three strand fiber core to form a durable yet flexible rope suitable for a range of applications. Each of the six outer strands are made of 2.5 mm galvanized steel wire, coated by a 1 mm layer of high strength polypropylene with a protective layer of high-strength UV resistant polyester fiber for a total single strand thickness of 6 mm. See Figure 1.

One Year *Warranty Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds warrants that all product or equipment purchased will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year. Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds will repair or replace all parts of the product or equipment found to be defective free of charge. Warranty periods start at date of invoice. * Items Not Covered in the above Warranties Product or equipment that is not installed in conformity with the layout plan and/or installation instructions provided by Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds; product or equipment that has not been maintained and inspected in accordance with Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds instructions; product or equipment that has been subjected to misuse, negligence or accident; product or equipment that has been subjected to addition, modification, alteration, repair, or part substitution by persons other than Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds or Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds designees. Labour or damages resulting from vandalism, abnormal use, incorrect installation, and lack of routine maintenance are not covered by the above warranties. These warranties do not include any or all of the following cosmetic issues: scratches, dents, marring, fading of colors, discolouration, normal wear and tear and natural fading. The above warranties are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether expressed or implied, including, but not limited to any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Further, no representation, oral or written, of any representative of Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds may be substituted for the afore described limited warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds shall not be liable for, direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages which are expressly excluded from the above warranties. Any freight costs associated with the warranty claim, any costs for dismantling the defective part in order to replace it, and any installation costs associated with the replacement part(s) are not considered part of this warranty and will not be paid by Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds. This warranty excludes liability other than that expressly stated, including but not limited to any incidental or consequential damages. Compliance with Play Equipment Standards Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds Equipment Limited warrants that its products are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the requirements of the Canadian National Standard CAN/CSA-Z614, Children s Play spaces in effect at the time of installation or shipment of the product. Further, Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds warrants that the installation of its products are compliant with the applicable Standard when installed directly by Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds or its designated sub-contractor. For a period of 12 months from the date of installation or shipment, should a non-compliancy to the Standard be identified that is caused by improper design, manufacturing or original installation procedure; Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds will make the necessary corrections to the equipment at its cost. This warranty of CSA and ASTM Standards compliance does not apply when the cause of the non-compliancy is the result of the following: 12 Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds Canada

9 Oversights by owner/operator or its designated inspectors that are not identified within the 12 month warranty period Oversights by third party inspectors that are not identified within the 12 month warranty period Failure of owner/operator to report any non-compliance to Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds within the 12 month warranty period Vandalism Abuse Damage caused by natural occurrences Improper maintenance procedures by owner/operator or designate Equipment alterations that are not performed by Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds Amendments or complete revisions to CAN/CSA-Z614 or ASTM F1487 Requirements exceeding the scope of CAN/CSA-Z614 or ASTM F1487 that are mandated by various licensing, regulatory or governmental authorities Comments and observations offered by play space inspectors related to the design, manufacture and installation of the equipment that exceed or are outside of the scope of CAN/CSA-Z614 or ASTM F1487 Warranty Claims To be valid, all warranty claims must be submitted in writing promptly following discovery of the defect(s) and within the specified warranty period Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds requires that all warranty claims be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice and photograph(s) clearly identifying the defect(s) in question. Product Replacement Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds has a commitment to continuous product development and improvement and therefore reserves the right to make approved substitutions in design or specifications. Loss or Damage In Transit Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of products by common carriers. Please check the bill of lading carefully to ensure your product is in good order prior to signing it. After the product departs our plant(s), we are no longer responsible for any loss, damage, or shortage. Maintenance The demand for safety requires regular inspection of playground structures for signs of wear and tear. All necessary repairs should be completed promptly by a qualified repair person. For more information on the regulations concerning playground equipment, installation, maintenance, and protective surfacing, please refer to your local and national safety standards.
