5 CHECKLIST FOR DECKING INSTALLATIONS Acclimate lumber to area temperature and humidity levels before installation. Protect lumber from rain and sun during storage. Use premium carbide tipped saw blades and high quality drill & bits. 7 DECKING WARRANTY ELIGIBILITY The Magellan Group, Ltd. owner of WalkGreen Decking (the Warrantor ), is pleased to extend this Warranty to you, the original consumer of the WalkGreen product. This Warranty is valid for WalkGreen Decking used in standard residential dwellings and may subsequent Buyer of the property upon which the WalkGreen products were originally installed. 25 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Limited to WalkGreen Cumaru, Tigerwood, Garapa Warrantor, at its option, will refund a percentage of the purchase price or replace any WalkGreen Decking used in a decking authorized WalkGreen Decking dealer. This Warranty does not cover costs of installation, removal or reinstallation, or for the natural characteristic of some wood to check, split, warp or twist. This Warranty does not cover staining, color variations or fading. 15 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Limited to WalkGreen Angelyn Warrantor, at its option, will refund a percentage of the purchase price or replace any WalkGreen Decking used in a decking authorized WalkGreen Decking dealer. This Warranty does not cover costs of installation, removal or reinstallation, or for the natural characteristic of some wood to check, split, warp or twist. This Warranty does not cover staining, color variations or fading. LIMITATIONS ON 25 YEAR and 15 YEAR WARRANTY Warrantor s sole obligation is limited to replacement of the WalkGreen product, and the Warrantor shall have no further liability or obligation except as expressly stated herein. The Warrantor may elect to refund the percentage of the original purchase price listed on the Prorated Warranty Schedule in lieu of replacing the product. If a claim is made under this Warranty on a product that is no longer available, Warrantor reserves the right to substitute replacement with a similar product of equivalent quality and value at Warrantor s discretion. Warrantor does not warrant against and is not responsible for, and no implied warranty shall be deemed to cover, any condition attributable, but not exclusive, to the following conditions/uses: Damage or physical abuse, acts of God, acts of war, or other chemical or biological factors Any installation not done in accordance with Warrantor s installation guidelines and local building codes Product abused or placed under or subjected to abnormal residential use conditions Improper expansion gap between the boards Consumers choice of hardware Warrantor, or it s appointed agent, reserves the right to investigate any claim and to inspect the materials for which a claim is made.
