Ossipee Mountain Firewood We are proud to produce clean, dry, insect and disease free quality firewood at a competitive price. Since 1989, we have been investing in the infrastructure to reliably provide our customers with a superior product.
Since 1989, Ossipee Mountain Firewood has been providing New England with clean, dry, insect and disease free quality firewood at a competitive price. Our vertical integration unique in the industry brings together: 15,000 acres of sustainably managed forestland, A state of the art firewood processing, kiln drying and packaging facility, and Warehouse capacity for 120 truckloads of dry firewood, proving protection from the elements and ready supply for our customers.
Ossipee Mountain Land Company has a combined ownership and long term management of 15,000 acres of New Hampshire forestland. The land is managed in an ecologically, culturally, financially responsible and sustainable manner. Much of this land is permanently protected through a conservation easement, and we take pride in our certification through the Tree Farm program. Hardwood dharvested during our forest management operations provides the raw material that becomes the quality firewood our customers have come to expect.
Sustainable forest practices are at the core of our land management.
Using sustainably harvested wood from our land and responsibly managed forests owned by our neighbors, we have the assured supply to meet our customers needs. Our rstate of the art the art wood processing facility allows us to split, dry and bundle firewood, with production levels of up to 24,000 bundles each week. This allows us to consistently provide you and your customers with kiln dried, insect free firewood.
Waste generated during the splitting and sizing of our firewood is used to heat our kilns. Kiln dried firewood is lighter, easy to start and burn, and insect free.
Our state of the art facility kiln dried firewood is packaged into tight, even bundles ready for your customers.
Our warehousing capacity is unique in the industry, and provides us with the opportunity to keep ample supply inventoried to meet seasonal peaks and unexpected demand. We have 20 thousand square feet of warehouse capacity, enough to store 200,000 bundles of kiln dried, insect free firewood. This provides you with the assurance that your firewood will be ready and available for delivery when you need it. For example, when New England was hit with an ice storm in 2008, Ossipee Mountain Firewood was able to quickly supply our customers with truckloads of firewood, providing a reason for consumers to flock to our customers stores.
Our warehouse can hold 120 truckloads of kiln dried, insect free firewood.
At Ossipee Mountain Firewood, we have: The land base to provide a sustainable and reliable flow of raw material; Processing capacity to efficiently split, dry and bundle firewood; and The storage capacity to provide you with the product you need when you need it. Since 1989, we have consistently been committed to meeting our customer s needs.
