Measurements are important: process, resources, results and impact Indicators are too many and more still coming (MDG: 8 goals, 18 targets and 48 indicators; SDG 17 goals, 169 targets and??100 indicators) Global reporting, programme level, country required Support for the effort to harmonize and align indicators and measurements in global health Strengthen country capacities to use data for decision making Apply technology and partnership for the collection and use of vital statistics with emphasis on the registration births and deaths (COIA targets 85% births and 65% deaths are registered Strong support for the data revolution Promote the use of data as evidence for accountability and transparent partner behaviour
