2 Écran in&out Sempé, Inga 2011 Ecran In & Out is an indoor/outdoor wall lamp, with a diffuser that expands from its base to transform itself into a screen. Made in waterproof polycarbonate IP65, resistant to various weather conditions, Ecran In & Out is equipped with a LED source and guarantees a long life span.

3 Grande Costanza Open Air Rizzatto, Paolo 2008 The new outdoor version is able to give light to terraces and garden with elegance and efficiency. Available with off-white, rust, or light green shade. Stem is white, rust or aluminium.

4 Javelot Macro Decq, Odile 2010 This evocative lighting fixture dedicated to the extension project of MACRO - Rome s Museum of Contemporary Art - has three aluminium bodies with conical satin-finished methacrylate tips that shed suggestive light from LED sources. The three javelins have different lenghts and intersect at an asymmetrical joint, assembled on the stem, to create unprecedented outdoor choreographies.

5 LightDisc Meda, Alberto, Rizzatto, Paolo 2002 A plastic luminous disc consisting of two polycarbonate shells, particularly well adapted to the latest generation of slim, circular fluorescent bulbs. The lamp is so thin that it merges imperceptibly with the surface of the ceiling or wall. The use of injection-moulded polycarbonate for the body allowed to make a mono-material and visually simplified whole, thus reducing the connecting points between parts. The finishes, white, metallized and transparent are created simultaneously to the mould by using the new in mould decoration technology. The white-painted reflector parabola of the shell close to the wall extends the diffusion of light rays, thus making it suitable for domestic use. Chrome-plating increases reflectivity and brightness, rendering the lamp especially suitable for installation in large spaces. Leaving the plastic surface transparent obtains a less focused and more diffused light along the wall. Lightdisc is enhanced by a new opaline polycarbonate diffuser which gives a soft and uniform perception of light.

6 Metropoli Meda, Alberto, Rizzatto, Paolo, Sarfatti, Riccardo 1992 Metropoli, revolutionary within. Simple, almost elementary. Elegant, positively impeccable. The die-cast aluminium frame houses the diffuser and a series of interchangeable optics whereby either halogen or fluorescent lamp may be used. The diffuser comes in moulded prismatic glass or in opalpolycarbonate (waterproof).metropoli is proposed today with LED sources providing the same visual comfort with a lower energy consumption. This technical step forward can also be seen in the ease of assembly and maintenance of this lamp. The wide rear hole allows rapid electrical connection during installation and convenient inspection of the system during operation. The diffuser closure system, of the watch-case type, facilitates bulb replacement and cleaning of the reflectors. From interiors to porticoes or gardens, Metropoli can create a pleasant continuity between the interior and exterior of an architecture. Awards

7 Pod Lens Lovegrove, Ross 1998 The light for your home garden, the terrace, spaces around the swimming pool or for the vegetable garden. Pod Lens is high, low, stuck into the ground, in bunches or festoons on the branches of trees. The diffuser, reminiscent of natural forms like those of flower buds, is made entirely of polycarbonate, with over-moulded walls that make the lamp waterproof and its colours resistant to ultraviolet rays. It is also an electrically versatile lamp that takes both energysaving bulbs and normal incandescent ones. Inside the house, when raised on a high stem with aluminium base, it becomes a lightweight floor lamp. Pod Lens is delivered without a plug because, due precisely to its adaptability, it may require an IP65 plug (for outdoor use),

10 Solar Bud Lovegrove, Ross 1998 The little light accompanies your footsteps in the dark. SolarBud needs no electric wiring because it is powered by a battery recharged by sunlight. With exactly the right brightness, it picks out paths, tracks, swimming pool edges, doorways etc, that would otherwise be hard to recognize in the dark. The solar energy, collected by a polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic cell, powers two rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries. After sunset, they can yield the energy accumulated from the sun to spontaneously turn on the high efficiency leds. The duration of the light when fully charged is between 13 and 15 hours. The sun exposure time necessary to reload the energy expended after 13 hours of lighting is about 5 hours.
