2 Project: Smoking Lounge Air Quality Improvement Location: Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong Government Severe smoke accumulation problem in departure hall smoking lounges Existing electrostatic purifying system which situated inside the ash trays unable to remove tremendous smoke Smoke leaked to departure hall though door s gap. 3 Banking Project: Location: Air Quality Improvement of Branch Tin Shui Wai, Hong Kong Branch refurbishment produced Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) and Formaldehyde (HCHO) High concentration of TVOC inside the mall was also detected. TVOC entered the branch through the entrances. Equipment: NCCO Air Purifier (Portable Type) Model: AA Next to service counters and run for 2 weeks during office hour High efficiency in TVOC and HCHO removal Continuosly maintaining a decent environment to both staff and customers.

4 Project 2: Location: To Minimize Disruption During Branch Refurbishment Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. Banking Repair and refurbishment works conducted during office hour Indoor air quality was deteriorated. Customers and staff were also affected. Branch management requested for a precautionary measurement during the period as well as a long term air quality solution. Equipment: NCCO Air Purifier (Portable Type) Model: AA Inside the construction site Near to the service counters High efficiency in TVOC and HCHO removal. Continuously maintaining a decent environment to staff and customers Project 3: Location: TVOC Removal of Card Production Centre Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong. Card printing machines produced huge amount of TVOC produced everyday. Pollutant affected wellness of staff as well as their working efficiency. 5 Project: Odor Removal of Asia Pacific Data Centre Location: Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong Banking The data centre is located next to Tseung Kwan O landfills area. Odor entered the building through it s ventilation system. Fixed window wall design leaded to odor accumulated inside the building. Offensive stench produced after rainy day that huge amount of vaporized gas emitted from the landfills. Their existing Active Carbon Filtration system was unable to remove the stench effectively. NCCO Air Purifying Systems (Tailor-made Solution for PAUs airflow rate over 10,000 L/s) Inlets of the Fresh Air Unit (FAU) Outstanding performance of odor removal. Over 80% in ammonia reduction. No further complaint from staff. Prevention of bacteria growth inside the building.

6 Project: Branch Air Quality Improvement Location: Standard Chartered Bank, Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong Banking Odor entered the branch though the ventilation system since the fresh air inlets are situated right next to the wet market. Smell also came from the main entrance. Burning of fragrance oil further deteriorated indoor air quality. 7 Project: Air Quality improvement at observation rooms Location: Wan Chai, Hong Kong Hospital Existing problem and limitation caused by MVAC design using fan coil. To look for a solution in order to improve the air flow condition and air quality. Patients need to stay in the same observation room which may cause cross infection Model: AA400-3 Observation Room within the A&E Centre Air flow condition improvement. Reduce the level of respirable suspended particles and airborne bacteria. Lower the risk of cross infection.

8 Project: Capital Times Square (Beijing) Air Quality Improvement Location: Jianguo Lu, Beijing Commerce During the construction period, urea was used as an anti-frozen additive to concretes and huge amount of ammonia released inside the building after the completion of building. Ammonia problem persisted for a long period of time and particularly serious during summer. Pollutant accumulated indoor due to building s fixed window wall design. Developer suffered from lost since the offices were unable to rent out. Model: AA400-2 Quantity: 600 units Spread over the affected area Over 90% removal efficiency of ammonia was achieved Improved overall air quality inside the building Minimized lost from unoccupied offices The system was become an addition feature to new tenants

9 Education Project: Air Quality Improvement of Teaching Staff Room Location: St. Joseph s Anglo Chinese School Existing air conditioning and ventilation system was unable to provide good indoor air circulation. Cross infection problem between teachers occurred. High sick leave recorded. Increased in school expense (Hiring temporary teachers is required). Affected student s learning continuity.
