9 Legal bases for the remediation of contaminated Wismut sites According the German Radiation Protection Ordinance ( 118), on the territory of the former GDR in regard to the remediation of residues of earlier practices and work activities as well as the decommissioning and remediation of plant facilities and operating sites for uranium mining, the following provisions shall continue to apply: VOAS & DB VOAS HaldAO 1.
