CONTRIBUTIONS TO NEW SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE 1. Developed a new concept and a model of Bubble-release for hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, methane, and carbon dioxide release. 2. Discovered a new phenomenon of Burst-release of hydrogen sulfide in swine houses. 3. Developed a new concept and a mathematical model of Carbon-dioxide Accelerated Ammonia Release. 4. Published baseline emissions of gases, PM, and odor in 15 referred articles. 5. Evaluated 8 different air pollution mitigation technologies including manure additives (39 products). 4 2. Designed a Multipoint Gas Sampling System (used in 13 states). 3. Developed method of detecting vibration for ventilation fan monitoring (one derived sensor commercialized). 4. Developed two pieces of software, AirDAC and ADPP, for data acquisition, control, data processing, and communication. AirDAC has been used in 13 states and has handled three billion data points, more than all the agricultural air quality data acquired by other systems in the world.
