3 The Edge of the KPMG Plus Index What makes this tool unique to the market? IT MEASURES EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT HOLISTICALLY This tool was designed based on a unique model rooted in scientific and practical applications. Rather than looking at as a standalone construct, the tool looks at 11 drivers of. This holistic approach allows for a more precise assessment of. IT EVALUATES PEOPLE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES This tool evaluates and categorises the People Management Practices (such as HR policies and procedures) found within an organisation. People Management Practices are the vehicle to, which is why having an understanding of which practices are present, partially present, or not present at all, is crucial to moving towards improved. IT ANALYSES DATA THROUGH A UNIQUE MODEL In addition to analysing the 11 drivers of individually, this tool goes a step further and groups them in relation to each other. Each group of drivers is then given a weighting, depending on their impact on. This weighting system allows for a more accurate score. IT PROVIDES RESULTS THAT FACILITATE DECISION-MAKING The survey questions are crafted to measure and have been tested for statistical reliability and validity. This makes them relevant and pertinent to strategic talent management planning. This further allows organisations to make people decisions that make business sense.

4 MEASURE your employee engagement level Our KPMG Plus Index is an evidence-based tool that enables you to take stock, and measure your organisation s current engagement levels through an online questionnaire answered by your employees. People are your organisation s greatest asset. Your employees performance is therefore central to your organisation, which is why you need them to function at their full potential engagement is what unlocks this potential and moves you closer towards reaching your business objectives. The Index s questions are directly related to scientifically proven drivers of engagement, such as leadership, communication, and work commitment. They also allow for the evaluation of your organisation s people management practices that act as a vehicle for employee engagement. Together, these provide you with data related to your organisation s strengths, areas for improvement, areas of critical concern, and therefore, ultimately, support the organisation in reaching its final destination of a Highly Engaged Workforce.
