6 BOOTH CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS AND ILLUSTRATION BOOTH CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS* The standard booth configuration is 10 square feet and multiples thereof. The height restriction for all exhibits or portions thereof, including signs, is eight (8) feet -- Expo management, in its sole discretion, may make exceptions to the height restrictions. -- Height variances must be applied for before the show opens through Amanda Dombrowicki via or via fax: (262) The height variance fee for requests made of MBA Show Management and granted prior to show opening will be $ If a high variance is assessed during the show, without prior application and approval, a fee of $125 will be incurred by the exhibiting company in question. Sidewalls adjoining booths may carry the background height out to within two (2) feet of the front line -- Exhibitors in violation of sidewall restrictions will be assessed a penalty of $1, The front two (2) feet of the space must not have equipment or display material over 42 inches in height. Aisle Aisle Horizontal Bold Line is the Back Wall, Vertical Bold Lines are Sidewalls 2 feet sidewall restriction cannot exceed 42 inches in height EXHIBIT DESIGN TIPS Does the exhibit look inviting or forbidding? Does the exhibit force the prospect to make a commitment by walking under a ceiling or up onto a platform? Does the exhibit resemble a museum or a retail store? Are bright colors used up high to attract attention and neutral colors used at eye level to prevent eye fatigue? 7 BOOTH JUDGING AND AWARDS NOTICE: Judges for the 2018 Exhibit Booth Awards will visit each show booth on Friday, January 12, 2018, beginning at 11:00 am. Incomplete booths will be disqualified. AWARDS: Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Builder/Remodeler and Associate booths. Builder/Remodeler Description Builder/Remodeler members shall be any individual, entity, or employee of a firm (corporation, partnership, or limited liability company) who has been in the business of: (I) building or remodeling homes, apartments, schools, commercial, industrial, or other structures normally related and appurtenant to a community with three homes built and sold; or (II) land development within the jurisdiction of this Association. Associate Description Associate member shall be any person, firm, or corporation engaged in a trade, business, industry or profession related to the home building industry. The greater part of business activity should consist of the performance of work or labor and the furnishing of materials used in or about the erection, construction, repair of buildings or financing of the buildings. 9 MOVE-IN / MOVE-OUT Move-in/move-out assignment will be based on booth size and floor placement. THE FINAL MAP AND SCHEDULE SHOWING ASSIGNED MOVE-IN AND MOVE-OUT DATES AND TIMES WILL BE RELEASED ON DECEMBER 1, IF, AFTER REVIEWING THE FINAL SCHEDULE, YOU WOULD LIKE TO RE- QUEST A VARIANCE, YOU CAN DO SO BY COMPLETING A MOVE-IN/-OUT VARIANCE REQUEST FORM AND SUBMITTING IT TO AMANDA DOMBROWICKI VIA (ADOMBROWICKI@MBAONLINE.ORG). PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES FOR MOVE-IN/-OUT. Entrance to the Marshaling Yard and Exhibitor Setup Parking Area is at Gate #1 at 79th Street and Greenfield Avenue. Arrive at the identified Marshaling Yard 15 minutes prior to your assigned time and check-in with a Valley Expo representative (see attached map). Vehicles MAY NOT remain in the loading area during booth set-up. There are NO exceptions to this rule. All vehicles must be unloaded and immediately moved. You will be able to park for FREE in the designated marshalling yard parking area on January 10 until 6PM, January 11 until 7PM and January 12 until 11AM. No motorized forklifts, carts, etc. are allowed to transport product and/or booths. Anything that cannot be carried in by hand or on a non-motorized cart will be subject to drayage fees. Hand carts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Trailers and large trucks may require the use of extra space. If you will be using a trailer and will require time in addition to what has been reserved for your company on the final schedule, please submit a variance request form, so enough time/space is reserved for your vehicle. TOOL DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP Please arrange for all tools to be dropped off and picked during the times listed below: Tool Drop-Off: 7:00 am 8:00 am Tool Pick-Up: 4:00 pm 5:00 pm All other equipment pick-up and drop-offs must be scheduled in advanced with the MBA. Please check in with the Marshaling Yard representative. Space is available strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. MISCELLANEOUS DROP-OFFS Many exhibitors have a need to drop off brochures, accessories, fresh flowers, etc. to complete their booth. Loading docks will be open from 8:00 am 11:00 am on Friday, January 12. Please check in with the Marshaling Yard representative and spots will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis. PLEASE NOTE Dock time, especially on Monday immediately following the Show, is in high demand! If you show up on the wrong day or at a time that was not assigned to you, you WILL NOT be allowed access to the loading docks/ramps. Ramps/Docks close at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 12. All move-ins on January 12 must arrive by 10:00 AM. PAGE 9

Valley Online Ordering For your convenience Valley Expo & Displays offers online ordering. You can order your Valley services, view show schedule, review previous and current account information, and print invoices. Helpful Hints Order early and take advantage of the advance pricing to receive discounted rates. Ship early to avoid delays. Shipments arriving late at show site will incur an additional cost and delays may occur. It s fast, easy, and secure. Exhibitors can now order services online (electric, IT, etc.) for shows in the Exposition Center. VISIT THE LINK ABOVE TO GET STARTED. What you need to know: Company information Credit card address You ll create a user name (your address) and password that sets up an account for you to use for all future shows. Sign and Banner Hanging All banners and sign hanging needs will be coordinated through the Wisconsin Exposition Center. They will coordinate and provide the necessary labor to perform this service at prevailing rates. Services must be ordered at least 21 days in advance of show opening date to receive advance pricing. Order forms can be accessed at the link above. Parking Passes Single-use parking passes are available for purchase from the Exhibitor Services Office at the Exposition Center. The cost is $6.00 each. The passes may be purchased during show move-in only. There is no charge for parking during move-in or move-out.
