1 Jazz Rendezvous Festival Vendor Guidelines Welcome to the Jazz Rendezvous Festival 2018, known as Jacksonville s best 3 day festival, located at the Sturgeon City Park Jacksonville NC, overlooking the beautiful Wilson Bay. This letter is to inform you that this event has become the most highly anticipated event of 2018! Why? Because of the exceptional marketing campaign for sponsorships including approved grants from the City of Jacksonville and The Jacksonville Tourism Development Authority. This event has been elevated to a nationally competitive event with 3 days of electrifying concerts by Artists Lineup of Grammy Award winning and Grammy Nominated musicians. We are expecting an attendee to number 10,000 and more per day rotating in and out due to special Military Appreciation Days included. Whether you are Vendor selling new merchandise, a distributor, a promoter of services, a Seller of bulk food items, the 3 day Jazz Rendezvous Festival is the place for you! If this is your first experience this Information Sheet will prove to be an invaluable tool that will familiarize you with the festival and how you can become a vendor or displayer. Keep in mind that the Jazz Rendezvous Festival goal is to provide you with the best possible opportunity to sell your merchandise. The rules, regulations and procedures enclosed herein are meant to keep the Jazz Rendezvous Festival the finest that it can be. GENERAL INFORMATION The Jazz Rendezvous Festival will begin August 17 th, 18 th & 19 th Friday,Saturday and Sunday at the Sturgeon City Park located at 4 Court Street Jacksonville, NC We do, however, have prohibited merchandise and certain items which must conform to all governmental specifications. The Jazz Rendezvous Festival is operating on the last Friday and Saturday of the month of August from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm each day annually. The Jazz Rendezvous Festival will attract more buyers without a doubt for two reasons #1. There is no comparison to the amount of funds $20,000 dedicated or committed to a heavy advertising campaign consisting of Social-media, television, radio, newspaper and billboards. We are prepared to compete on a national level with a vacation package to offer consumers a deal they can t refuse, creating a win/win for all involved. 2 * THE SALE OF WEAPONS IS ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED * No Seller may sell, exchange, offer to sell, expose for sale, possess with the intent to sell, exchange, store, transfer any weapons, or obviously harmful products at the Jazz Rendezvous Festival, or grounds thereof. Furthermore, prohibited items consist of, but are not limited to, the following: PROHIBITED MERCHANDISE Ammunition Bombs Bootleg Products Counterfeit Merchandise Cross-bows Dogs/Cats Drug Paraphernalia Fireworks Grenades Guns Knives (permitted at the sole discretion of The People Markets Management ) Mace Mace-like products Martial Art Weaponry Pepper Spray Pornography Rifles Stun Guns Swords Tear Gas Tobacco Products Each Seller shall hold the Jazz Rendezvous Festival and the City of Jacksonville harmless from any violation of any of the foregoing provisions. Violation of any of the above described provisions will result in revocation of your selling privileges at The Jazz Rendezvous Festival at the sole discretion of the Jazz Rendezvous Festival Management.

3 SELECTING A SPACE Once you have obtained all required permits, licenses, certificates and related paperwork you may select a date to sell. Be prepared to select an alternative date if your first selected date is sold out, or if the selection is not satisfactory. Be prepared to inform management what it is you are selling, if you have sold before, and the date you wish to. We do not hold spaces or make reservations by telephone. The Sturgeon City Park Festival spaces are approximately 10'xl2' in size. Each Seller must have a valid Jazz Rendezvous Festival Seller's License (ticket) to set up in a marked stall on the given date. PURCHASING LICENSE You may purchase a Seller's License online either before the day you wish to sell (ADVANCE RESERVATION), or the same day you wish to sell (UNRESERVED). Advanced reservations can be made online at the address ric2014allen@gmaill.com or Hours for pick up at a designated location are Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. If tickets are not purchased in advance and spaces are available sellers may retrieve tickets for their booth space at the Sellers reservation booth at the main entrance. Vehicles must be in their space or unloaded by 8:45 AM. If you arrive later than 9:45AM, you may cart or carry items to your space. Purchasing an unreserved Seller's License entitles you to sell on that day only. Please have your car in the unreserved Sellers line which forms at the Court St. entrance. REMEMBER: THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT JAZZ RENDEZVOUS FESTIVAL WILL BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE YOU; NOR DO WE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT SPACE YOU WILL OCCUPY - IT IS STRICTLY FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. THE JAZZ RENDEZVOUS FESTIVAL/ DOES ISSUE CASH REFUNDS FOR EMERGENCIES AND MUST REQUEST NOT ON THE DAY OF BUT PRIOR. THERE IS CREDIT FOR RAIN OUTS AND WILL BE APPLIED TOWARDS THE NEXT EVENT. Be prepared have your Seller Information Sheet filled out COMPLETELY before you arrive. DO NOT forget to list all items and their corresponding serial numbers. Have your correct and valid licenses; Seller's Permit, Health Permit for food vendors, Home Furnishing Permit, and any other applicable items available when checking into the Jazz Rendezvous Festival Don't forget The Jazz Festival requires all

4 THE DAY YOU SELL Drivers have a valid driver's license and valid automobile liability insurance for all vehicles entering The Jazz Rendezvous Festival. The Jazz Rendezvous Festival may request, at their discretion, for a Seller to provide proof of valid driver's license and auto insurance on city property. Please enter The Jazz Rendezvous Festival from the lanes which are applicable to your Seller's license and space status. We have separate lanes for reserved and unreserved Sellers. When entering the grounds please follow the direction of the parking attendants. They will direct you to either the reserved line, which is for Sellers who have previously purchased a Seller's License; or to the unreserved line, which is for Sellers who have not previously purchased a Seller's License. Both of these lines are formed by our parking attendants as you enter the grounds from adjacent cross road. Vendors with Seller's Licenses are permitted to enter The Jazz Rendezvous Festival at 5:00 a.m. through the front entrance. BEFORE you are permitted to enter The Jacksonville Jazz Park Festival you must have all the proper paperwork completed and ready for review at the entrance. Vehicles must be in their space or unloaded and out of The Jazz Festival by 8:45 a.m. If you arrive later than 8:45 am you may cart or carry items to your space. No Vehicles are allowed to park inside The Jazz Rendezvous Festival. Failure to clear the aisle way on time will result in the loss of further selling privileges. The unreserved vendor s line will be permitted upon purchase of a ticket to enter The Jazz Rendezvous Festival no earlier than 5:30 a.m. The amount of available tickets will determine how many vendors are permitted to enter the Jazz Rendezvous Festival. Any vendor showing up after 8:45 a.m. must cart their merchandise into their selling space. Once the Management has declared that the Jazz Rendezvous Festival is "sold out", then we no longer will permit vendors to purchase a Seller's License for that selling day. A PRIMARY IMPORTANCE DURING THE CHECK-IN HOURS IS SAFETY. PLEASE DRIVE SLOW WITH YOUR SPEED NOT TO EXCEED 3 MILES PER HOUR. BE AWARE THAT THERE ARE MANY PEDESTRIANS AND VEHICLES UNLOADING. USE EXTRA CARE AT ALL TIMES WHEN DRIVING ON THE PARKING LOT. EQUIPMENT RENTAL Sellers are solely responsible for their personal and rental property. There will be no equipment available or for rent at the Jazz Rendezvous Festival for example: tables, chairs...

5 IN YOUR SPACE Upon reaching your selling space, position your vehicle in the space entirely, or quickly unload and remove your vehicle from the lot. No vehicles are permitted in the aisles after 7:45 a.m. Remember to set up your selling displays entirely within the marks which define your space. Please follow all rules and regulations, governing selling at the Jazz Rendezvous Festival, listed on your Seller's License. Please show respect for your neighbors' space and be considerate of others. Please dispose of all your trash in a proper manner, and leave your space clean. Vendors leaving an abundant amount of trash will be assessed a clean-up fee and the loss of further selling privileges. Vendors MAY STAY WITH ON the Jazz Rendezvous Festival premises THERE PROPERTY, unless Management announces otherwise throughout the day. The Jazz Rendezvous Festival hopes that this Information will help make your selling day at The Jazz Rendezvous Festival safer and more enjoyable.
