1 1- GOAL AND SCOPE: To provide the identification and traceability of the end product in all production stages and from the moment it is delivered to the user. 2- APPLICATION AND METHOD 2.1 The raw materials (scrap) purchased are determined according to the operation need. Availability of the scraps received is reported by the independent audit company and our scrap quality experts in the ports of loading and discharge (According to the Global ISRI standards and the control thereof is under the responsibility of Raw Material Purchasing Management. Inspection and test reports of auxiliary raw materials purchased (ferroalliage, lime, coal, etc.) and the control of the compliance with the related technical specifications are under the responsibility of purchasing, related department manager/chief and quality control department. Technical specifications to be a basis for the procurement of any goods, services or construction work that will be supplied for the need of units in the demands created with SAP system and document that can be used as a substitute for technical specification are prepared/supplied by the units of necessity and are confirmed by the top management. In case technical specification is nor prepared, the document as a substitute for the technical specification to be used, the technical drawings thereof are shown in the attachment in sap system while a request is opening up and are included by considering the points mentioned below. Technical criteria describing the properties such as physical properties, chemical properties, packaging, and labeling are included in the technical document or the document prepared. To this end, first national and/or international standards are adapted. Units of necessity make a choice by considering these criteria. 2.2 Steel plant production consists of unit productions called casting. 2.3 If Arc Furnace is operated as single charge, from one casting about 150 tons of liquid steel, made. Both casting numbers represent the same casting and are not used for other castings. 2.6 Numbers are written to the ends of the billet and as stated in KLT.FR.03 Steel Plant Production Plan to any of its one or two sides with the use of special purpose chalk, oil paint and pattern by quality control staff or the appointed personnel. 2.7 The billets produced are piled up according to the customer demand stated in KLT.FR.03 Steel Plant Production Plan in a packaged or unpackaged manner. 2.8 Color coding of the castings produced are made according to the KLT.FR.03 Steel Plant Production Plan if available or to the KLT.FR.14 Billet Color Coding Table if not available. 2.9 First quality, defective product amounts of each casting produced are recorded in the KLT.FR.02 Production Monitoring Form, and the delivered tonnages and tonnages remaining in stock are recorded in S.A.P. Chemical analysis results are backed up weekly The billets used as an input material in rolling mill production operations are recorded and monitored using the casting numbers thereof Color coding of the Product (Bar) castings produced is made according to the KLT.FR.03 Steel Plant Production Plan if available or to the Product Color Coding Table HD.KLT.FR.16 if not available First quality, defective product amounts of each casting produced and their delivered tonnages and tonnages remaining in stock are recorded in the Rolling Mill Production and Inventory Report HD.KLT.FR.01 computer environment. Mechanical analysis results are backed up weekly Transfer information (casting number, mechanical, chemical and physical etc.) of the product for Cares certified Nuclear and Project based special steels are entered to Cares Cloud system by Quality Control and Assurance Engineer within 24 hours. 2/5

3 2.14 QR barcode encoded in SAP is given to the labels of the productions made for Cares certified Nuclear and Project based special steels. In the productions made within the scope of nuclear applications and mega projects, two (2) labels having QR code are attached to the bonds. This QR code allows for a faster and more practical access to the information about the material by scanning. (HD.KLT.TL 15 Bar Bond Number and Instruction for Separation of Casting) 2.15 Branding of the productions made for Cares certified Nuclear and Project based special steels is made according to HD.KLT.FR.20 Quality Plan.
