2 Belting Sedex Equipment (Sedex) carries a large range of belting to suit most conveying applications. This enables the customer to attain the most costeffective solution. Our prefered suppliers have been producing conveyor belts for over 50 years. Through years of experience in modern production technology and the high technical level of our product act, with their manufactures quality guarantee their reliability in operation and long service life. Our conveyor belts are produced according to the European and worldwide standards, as well as according to national regulations and specifications. Consequently our products are used almost everywhere in the world. Sedex s main objective is to produce conveyor belts to meet and exceed the requirements of our clients as best as possible. We emphasise the lowest possible environmental impact connected with their production and use. The development of new conveyor belts constructions is carried out by our manufacturers in their rubber research facilities, often in close co-operation with various universities investigating the problems faced by many conveyor systems. Therefore keeping abreast of the world trends, and classify us among prominent worldwide suppliers. Carcass We offer conveyor belts with textile or steel cord carcass. The textile carcass consists of 1 to 6 plies that are either made of polyamide fibres (P) or of the combination of polyester with polyamide fibres (EP). The textile carcass conveyor belts are produced in standard line from 200 to 3500 N/mm with the belt width range from mm according to the demand, with cut or protecting rubber edge. The steel cord carcass consists of high tensile steel cords with different diameters depending on the strenght. The steel cord conveyor belts are produced in standard line from 1000 N/ mm to 5000 N/mm with the width range from 750 mm to 2400 mm with protecting rubber edge. Cover Depending on the conditions of their use, we offer a wide range of rubber covers with high structural strength and abrasion resistance for the general use; covers are resistant to fire, underground use, in extremely high and low temperatures and for the transport of materials including oils and inorganic acids. An appropriate choice of cover guarantees our conveyor belt s reliability and service life. The thickness of the cover depends on the kind of conveyed material, and transport conditions.
