7 Video Interviews Discussion: FDM Video Interview Process Benefits: - Less time consuming can be watched and assessed at any time - Provides a good simulation of a face to face interview but is more cost effective than face to face and telephone interviews - Enables a recruiter to assess candidates professionalism Benefits to the Candidate: - More flexible record answers at any time - Objective - all candidates are asked the same questions and go through the same process - Provides good preparation for the next stages recruitment stages Page 7

8 Strength Based Interview Questions Based on positive psychology everyone has strengths they are born with and by identifying what they are, candidates should enjoy their role more and perform better - Allows candidates to show passions and interests (can be important with technical candidates) - Gives additional insight and depth to interview - Less rehearsed that competency based questions - Beneficial for new graduates who may have less experience in field - Scope to look for company values within responses Examples: What things give you energy?
