3 About My CHRISTUS Life My CHRISTUS Life is your one-stop, real-time resource for employment information right at your fingertips. Get help or answers regarding: Benefits Payroll CHRISTUS kudos! Learning & Professional Development HR Policies You can access the My CHRISTUS Life portal 24/7 via your computer or mobile device. 4 Getting Started Logging in is easy as 1, 2, 3! 1. From your computer or mobile device, go to mychristuslife.com 2. Login with your CHRISTUS network User Name and Password 3. Click Login Once you ve logged in, you will see all your regularly used links are still available to you and the main page is always updated with current HR information. Tip: All features are also available from your smart phone or other mobile device. There is no App to download. Simply open your internet browser and type in the web address. Tip: Notice all the links you may access on a regular basis are provided for you on the home page. When accessing any of those websites, you will still need to login separately with that site s credentials. 3
5 Payroll Adjustment Form Instructions Exempt A Payroll Adjustment Form should be submitted when an Associate has been under or over paid. This example will outline the steps necessary to complete a payroll adjustment form for an Exempt Associate. 1. Click Open an HR Case 2. Select Payroll Adjustment Form 3. Complete form as follows: a. Enter Associate s Name to search and select b. Enter primary phone number c. Select Reason for Request from drop down menu d. Select Exempt from the Type of Associate drop down menu option. e. Under the Worked Hours section, Click on Earnings Type and select appropriate earnings code f. Enter the date for which hours are missing g. Enter Associate s Total Hours for that date entered h. Under the Other Hours section, Click on Earnings Type and select the appropriate earnings code (if applicable) i. Enter the date for which hours are missing j. Enter the total hours missing for indicated date k. Enter any other comments justifying reason for request in the Comments section l. Click Submit 4. Your request will be forwarded to Payroll. You and the Associate will receive an with a Case number for tracking purposes. h e a Tip: If multiple Associates appear with the same name, hover your mouse over the small box for the Associate s account information and make sure you are selecting the correct Associate. b c d g f i j j k l 4
6 Payroll Adjustment Form Instructions Non-Exempt A Payroll Adjustment Form should be submitted when an Associate has been under or over paid. This example will outline the steps necessary to complete a payroll adjustment form for a Non- Exempt Associate. 1. Click Open an HR Case 2. Select Payroll Adjustment Form 3. 7 Tuition Assistance Applications Once an Associate has submitted a Tuition Assistance Application, the request will need to go through a two step approval process. The application will be routed to a MyCHRISTUSLife Representative to help determine if the proper documentation has been submitted. Once approved by MyCHRISTUSLife, the application will then be routed to the Regional HR Business Partner for final approval. c b a Tip: Associates will be responsible for having initial conversations about Tuition Assistance with their reporting Manager so that they are aware of any future requests that are submitted. 6
8 Track Your HR Cases Any time you submit a question, request or issue online, you will be assigned an HR Case Number. You may also be assigned an HR Case Number if your phone call or chat will require further follow up. 1. There are a couple of ways you can view your Case. a. Click My HR Requests at the top of the screen. A list of your active cases will appear. Click on the Case Number to view the notes and status. b. Check your CHRISTUS . You will receive an from Service Desk-Redirect with your Case information. Click on the Case Number to view the notes and status. 2. Once your Case has been resolved, you will receive another . Review the Resolution Notes section for a response to your question or on the action taken. Tip: If you click on the link from your to open your Case, you may be asked to login. Use your network ID and password. 7
9 View Your Closed Cases You can find your closed cases by changing your filter settings. 1. Click My HR Requests at the top of the screen. A list of your active cases will appear. a. Click the drop down arrow in front of All>Active. b. Use the drop menus to select the criteria desired for cases you would like to view. c. At the end of each row you will see three options to select from: I. and (condition must be met) II. or (Condition can be met) III. x (Delete row) d. Once you have your filters setup, click Run. b a d c Note: In the example shown, the filter found all cases Opened by Unknown CHRISTUS or Opened for Unknown CHRISTUS. Tip: adding an or to the filter will keep you from having to create a second filter to view the other data. Otherwise a filter for Opened by and Opened for would have to be run separately. 8
