Food Waste Elimination Solutions At The Source
The Problem with Food Waste ENVIRONMENTAL 70 billion lbs food waste per year 1 97% goes to landfill Methane 21x more damaging than CO 2 Pick-up & hauling emissions 1 Source: EPA Municipal Solid Waste Data 2009 OPERATIONAL Unpleasant odors Attracts pests, vermin and insects Workplace sanitation requirements Workplace safety concerns ECONOMIC $1 billion per year spent on disposal of food waste 1 $90 to $200 per ton all in disposal costs Operational and productivity costs
The EnviroPure Solution Hyper-accelerated food waste decomposition system On-site elimination of food waste in 24 hours Uses physical and biological processes to break down food waste into H 2 O and CO 2 Produces gray water byproduct safe for disposal in sewer NO odors, NO sludge build-up, NO system clean outs
Eco-Contribution EnviroPure Systems do not get LEED points EnviroPure Systems contribute to LEED Materials and Resources We contribute to MR7- Solid Waste Management EnviroPure contributes toward credit achievement through the reduction of food waste that is hauled to or disposed of in landfills or incineration facilities

What is BioMix? BioMix is all NATURAL non-toxic, biodegradable NUTRIENT mix Contains Vitamins and Amino Acids BioMix feeds the BACTERIA already present in the food waste allowing them to MULTIPLY Provides ORGANIC DECOMPOSITION ENHANCEMENT and ODOR SUPPRESSION
What is in BioMix? BIOMIX DOES CONTAIN: MINERALS NUTRIENTS AMINO ACIDS VITAMINS BIOMIX DOES NOT CONTAIN: BACTERIA ENZYMES TOXIC CHEMICALS MASKING AGENTS
EPW System ByProducts Nutrient depleted gray water effluent We are the only company that treats the water Safe for disposal into municipal waste water sewer systems Meets key environmental criteria for disposal into sewer system: Waste Water Discharge Criteria Municipal EnviroPure Limits Effluent mg / L mg / L Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) Fats, Oils & Grease (FOG's) Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
How Much Water Does the System Use? How much potable water is used by the system? If you use our ozone system it is a closed loop system. We will use the treated gray water for the grinding process. Standard operation I Series uses 4-7 gpm; grind cycle is 3 to 4 minutes GT Series uses 2-4 gpm; grind cycle is 3 to 4 minutes
How Much Electricity Does the System Use? Short answer between $150-$300 a year EPW-1000 and higher.32kw/h X 24 hrs. = 7.68 Kw/h per day 10 cents per kilowatt hour ( you would have to apply your rate) 7.68 X 30 Days = X.10/K = $23.04 EPW-120 to EPW kw/hour x 24 hours = 5.76kw/day x $.0735kwh cost = $0.42/day x 30 = $12.70 per month. A 480lb. per day unit would process 14,400lbs in 30 days or 7.2 tons/month. $12.70 divided by 7.2 tons/month would equal $1.76/ton of electrical cost?
