Energy-Efficient Quiet By Design With cooling ratings of up to 16.5 SEER, Affinity Series Packaged Units save the most money in extreme conditions. Energy costs can be cut by as much as 40 percent during the coldest and warmest months thanks to features like our ECM motor technology, enhanced coil design and thermostatic expansion valves. The entire line of Affinity Series Packaged Units are designed to operate quietly. Our own QuietDrive swept-wing condenser fan minimizes the air noise coming from the unit. A ridged top panel and embossed side panel architecture reduce vibration. The enhanced coil fin and rubber isolated compressor reduces radiated sound. Comfort When You Need It Most Easy, Space-Saving Installation The Affinity Series is also available with two-stage scroll compressor technology that operates at two levels. The first stage efficiently cools at 67 percent capacity and controls humidity for increased comfort. The second stage maintains maximum cooling when you need it most. In cold conditions, gas heat models with a two-stage heat section deliver just the right amount of heat to keep temperatures even with fewer hot or cold spots. All York Affinity Packaged Systems are designed to save space. They feature a compact cabinet design with a single footprint for all models. Two cabinet heights offer a balance between costefficiency and high performance. The removable base rails provide a quick and simple option to ease installation when space is tight.
