And mill finished and chromate or Epoxy primer for bottom /rear skin. PVDF Coating system offers Two or Three Layer coating depending on color selection such as Metallic colors and Normal RAL Colors. Metallic Colors are normally Three (3) coat system consisting Primer, Color and Clear Top coat. Normal RAL colors usually have Two (2) coat system composed of inhibitive Primer and Color Coat; in conformance with the following general requirements of AAMA a. Color: Generally we are manufacturing ACP with various options of color coating; basically we have four different types of colors such as: Solid / Enamel Colors, Metallic Colors, Natural Finishes (Stone & Timber) and Sparkling Colors. 1) Standard color as selected by the owner / architect / engineer. 2) Custom colors as per customer requirement. 3) Clear coat over pretreated natural and brushed aluminum substrates. b. Chalk Resistance ASTM D : Max 8 Units (Accelerated Test 4000 Hrs) q. Weatherability : 15 Years r. Bendability : 1T 2T Q. PANEL STRENGTH The Panels used for the external cladding must with stand the wind load. This wind load will cause deflection of the panels and if the deflection is small the panel will not deform. The permanent deformation of the panel is calculated by 0.2% yield stress divided by the safety factor. In the calculation we are assuming that the total strength of the panel is the strength of the Aluminium skins. If the calculated 2% proof stress is grater than the permissible, normally the panel is strengthened by giving additional stiffeners. The other factors affecting the strength of the panel are: 1. Panel thickness, width and length 2. Supporting conditions. 3. Wind load We are using the Aluminium alloy 3003-H14 for our ACP/PE and FR skins 2% proof stress is 152 MPa and suitable where the wind speed is 50m/sec. The air infiltration of Q-NAP panels in standard fixing is 0.3 L/s Per sq.m at 75 Pa Pressure As per ASTM E 283 and water penetration test passed according to ASTM E 331 at a minimum differential pressure of 10 percent of inward acting, wind-load design pressure of not less than 300 Pa R. JOINING HOLES / BOLTS & NUTS In the installation work other important factors are the strength of the joining holes and the rivets. Normally the distance from the hole centre to the panel edge should be 2 times larger than hole diameter. And to prevent the galvanic corrosion of the panels use only Aluminium or stainless steel rivets, bolts nuts etc. if we are using dissimilar metals lay a coating to prevent the galvanic corrosion. S. STRENGTH OF SUBSTRUCTURE The sub structure where we are installing the panels, should take care the wind load and the panels. The strength of the substructure depends on the material and section of the structure, anchoring intervals of sub structure and wind pressure. The maximum deflection on the sub structure must be smaller than the 0.5% of supporting intervals. T. RESISTANCE TO NATURAL FORCES a) Lightning If a lightning strikes, the ACP/FR panel the electricity will be discharged to the earth through the substructure. Since the panel is connected to the earth through the sub structure. U. PRODUCT WARRANTY All Aluminum Composite Panels supplied by Qatar National Aluminum Panel Co. will be warranted for a period from 10 years from the date of supply, as per our standard product warranty Policy. Formal Warranty documentation will be issued in the name of Client and will be endorsed by the regional agents / the company itself. 41 of 161

Nr. 2009*1439 dated page8 fom 8 Assessment The in chapter one described material fulfile the requirements of the building class B2 with according to DIN 4102*1 (Mai 1998). The determined test results show that the material fulfil also the requirements of the building class according to DIN 4102*1 (Mai 1998). B1 Special comment The fire test result is only valid for the in chapter one described material in free hanging configuration. The distance to other plane material must be more then 40 mm. The material wasn t tested after a outside storage. In the compostion with other materials (for example coatings, deposits) the burning behaviour could be influenced unfavourable that the above classification is not any longer valid. According to DIN 4102*1 the burnig behaviour in composition with other materials has to be tested separately. This test certificate did not replace the required Verwendbarkeitsnachweis. 73 OBJECTIVE The objective of the test described in this report was to evaluate the fire resistance of a nonloadbearing aluminum clad wall assembly. TEST METHOD The ASTM E 119 test method is intended to evaluate the duration for which a building element will contain a fire, or retain its structural integrity, or display both properties dependent upon the type of building element involved, during a predetermined fire exposure time. The test exposes a specimen to a standard fire controlled to achieve specified temperatures throughout a specified period. This standard is used to measure and describe the response of materials, products, or assemblies to heat and flame under controlled laboratory conditions, but does not by itself incorporate all factors required for fire hazard or fire risk assessment of the materials, products, or assemblies under actual fire conditions. This report describes the test results obtained for a nonload-bearing wall assembly. The performance of the assembly is expressed in terms of the transmission of heat and hot gases during the standard fire exposure and penetration of water to the unexposed side of the assembly during the hose stream test. The results presented in this report apply specifically to the materials tested, in the manner tested, and not to the entire production of these or similar materials, nor to the performance when used in combination with other materials. 102 K. BENDING LIMIT We can bend the SINCO in a Press Break or 3 roll Bending machine. Normally the smallest radius which we can apply to bend the panel with out wrinkles at the radial surface of panel is termed as the bend radius. In 3 roll machine the bending diameter depends on the roll diameter, length and type of machine. For 4mm SINCO the diameter is about 300 mm. L. THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY Compared to solid materials, the SINCO panel has a lower thermal conductivity. The table below shows the thermal conductivity comparison of different materials. PANEL STRENGTH The Panels used for the external cladding must withstand the wind load. This wind load will cause deflection of the panels and if the deflection is small the panel will not deform. The permanent deformation of the panel is calculated by 0.2% Proof Stress (yield stress) divided by the safety factor. In the calculation we are assuming that the total strength of the panel is the strength of the 101 of 161
103 Aluminium skins. If the calculated 2% proof stress is greater than the permissible, normally the panel is strengthened by giving additional stiffeners. The other factors affecting the strength of the panel are: 1. Panel thickness, width and length 2. Supporting conditions. 3. Wind load WIND LOAD; For SINCO 6mm 0.8 mm top skin, 0.3 mm Core and 0.4 mm bottom skin 1,000 W 1,250 W 1,500 W P. FABRICATION Q- Nap panels can be easily fabricated by the mechanical processing like saw cutting, bending, grooving drilling etc. The shear cutting is not recommended for the SINCO panels, all other conventional type fabrication method can be adopted for the processing of the SINCO 102 of 161
104 RIVETING U Groove Q. RESISTANCE TO NATURAL FORCES The SINCO panel has very good fungi and frost resistance. And since the panel is connected to the earth through the sub structure, if a lightning strikes a SINCO panel the electricity will be discharged to the earth through the substructure. R. Exploratory assessment The material described in section 1 of the Ofenprüfung passed the requirements for the building material class A2 according to DIN Special comment The fire test result is only valid for the in chapter one described material. In the composition with other materials (for example coatings, deposits) the burning behaviour could be influenced unfavourable so that the classification above is valid not any longer. According to DIN the burning behaviour in composition with other materials has to be tested separately. This test report replaces the test report from 01 st Feb (date of signature) which is not longer valid from now on. Frankfurt, 11 th Feb A. Walter Dipl.-Ing. T. 119 OBJECTIVE The objective of the test described in this report was to evaluate the fire resistance of a nonloadbearing aluminum clad wall assembly. SwRI personnel constructed the 10 ft 10-ft base wall consisting of galvanized steel studs, spaced 2 ft on center, and track with a single layer of 5/8-in. thick Type X gypsum wallboard attached to each side of the studs with Type S 1-5/8-in. drywall screws spaced 8 in. on center along the perimeter and joints, and 12 in. on center in the field of the wallboard. The gypsum wallboard joints on the exposed and unexposed sides were treated with paper tape and joint compound complying with ASTM C 474 and C 475. The cavities between each stud were filled with 3 in. of Delta-8 marine insulation board with a density of 8 lb/ft³ (128 kg/m³). The Q-NAP FR panels, constructed from aluminum alloy AA3003 H14 with an approximate density of 54 lb/ft³ (870 kg/m³), were attached to the exposed face of the wall according to the drawings provided by the Client. An additional stud was placed at each of the locations of the aluminum panel seams. Client-supplied drawings of the panels are shown in Appendix A.
