4 Target Group Business Administration Level 2 Learnership: These qualifications are for individuals who are involved in the Administration function in any organization or business in any sector. The core component contains competencies in Information Handling, Communications, Enterprise/customer service, Information Technology, Selfdevelopment, Teamwork and Business Policies and Procedures. The elective component allows the learner to gain specialist knowledge, skills and insight into various areas. Through building day-to-day personal and business skills, as well as general operational competencies, the qualification ensures progression of learning, enabling the learner meet standards of excellence required within this field of learning. to
5 Learner Outcomes On achieving the Business Administration 2 qualification, learners can: Demonstrate an understanding of the business environment Investigate the Structure of an Organization Apply Health, Safety and Security in the workplace Operate in a Team Demonstrate the ability to lead a team or group. Manage effective working relationships Organise oneself in the workplace Identify and maintain records Process numerical and text data Receive and execute instructions Behave in a professional manner in a business environment Attend to customer enquiries Manage time and work processes within a business environment Keep informed about current affairs relating to one s own industry Demonstrate an understanding of Human Rights Structures and the BCEA.
6 Modularisation The learnership is modularised into 5 x four day sessions, offered every 4 6 weeks or once a week for 24 weeks. The modularization allows for workplace application of skills and knowledge between the contact periods. A simple log book of workplace learning needs to be kept by the candidates. The log book at this level is a fairly simple format. As far as possible, portfolios will be compiled during contact time, with own work assignments to be completed at the workplace. We are usually able to close out the learnership within months (provided the SETA is able to do verification, certification etc within the time frame.) Allow 3 6 months for official close out by the SETA.

12 Cost Business Administration level 2 Full Course/ Learnership Fee: For information on the cost of the course, please contact Nicolette Wilton on nicolette@dionysus.co.za or Min No per company Cost per person (excl) based on 5 modules of 4 consecutive days approximately 5 weeks apart. This scheduling can change to suit you, the client if the course is in-house, but should not be fewer than 2 days a month. Various options for payment are available. Note: The cost includes the Management of the Learnership, all Course Materials, Manuals and PoEs, Stationery, Facilitation, Assessment, Moderation and Certification by the Services SETA.
13 Deliverables This cost will ensure that Dionysus fulfills the following functions: Provide the theoretical training of the programme Record, monitor and retain details of training provided to the learners Conduct formative assessments and summative assessments to indicate the learners competencies Provide reports to the employer on the learners performances Manage the facilitation and quality assure the outcomes based education and training leading to national registration and the awarding of certificates to learners Moderate the programme internally Ensure external (SETA) moderation of the programme Provide delegates who attended the qualification with framed certificates of achievement once the SETA verification has occurred. NB: Workplace Mentors must be assigned to each learner in the workplace, and offer them assistance and advice for the duration of the learnership.

All Facilitators and Assessors used by Dionysus are highly experienced and registered. Our area of specialisation is learnerships across a variety of Sectors.
