8 LGBT Outside of USA IBM has employees in 98 countries. 56 have laws that vary from unenforced penalty to death penalty regarding LGBT. IBM offers marriage days off for LGBT employees in 40 countries and medical coverage for same gender partners in 34 countries. In the past 8 months, we have increased the LGBT IBM population covered for medical coverage by 30%.
