Because we have exported meat products internationally for over 30 years, we have grown to understand the complexities and expectations of the export marketplace. American Foods Group, LLC was formed in 2005 through the merger of The Rosen Meat Group and American Foods Group, Inc. Both companies were privately held. American Foods Group, Inc. traces its history to the Endlich Packing Company, which started in Green Bay, Wisconsin in At the time of the merger, American Foods Group had grown into one of the country s largest suppliers of ground beef and case ready meat products, as well high quality beef products. The Rosen Meat Group was a part of Rosen Diversified Industries which was founded in Rosen Diversified also includes an extensive farm chemical and fertilizer distribution business. The first meat packing plant was purchased in 1974 in Long Prairie, Minnesota. Over the next 30 years five additional meat packing plants were purchased and eight further processing facilities. American Foods Group remains a privately held family business whose growth in the beef industry has made an efficient partner to all customers.

American Foods Group, LLC is the fifth largest meat packer in the United States, operating five harvest facilities and eight value-added processing facilities (see map). We employ over 4,000 people and have annual sales of approximately 2 billion dollars (US).
