Improve success rates with Ultrastrike is a broad spectrum film coat that provides establishing grass, brassica and chicory seedlings with extensive protection. Benefits Assists in maximising seedling establishment and plant development Effective against a range of common insects Effective against a range of diseases in brassica Grasses and Chicory Recommended for Use in nil-tillage or over-sowing programmes because of the increased risk of insect damage in grass-to-grass environments Over-sowing situations where competition from the existing pasture can be limiting Contains Gaucho, a systemic insecticide for protection against Red Legged Earth Mite and Blue Oat Mite. Please note, in some cases where high numbers of mites are present, a follow up insecticide treatment may be necessary Forage Sorghum Recommended for Use in nil-tillage or over sowing programmes because of the increased risk of insect damage in grass-to-grass environments Over sowing situations where competition from the existing pasture can be limiting Contains Gaucho, a systemic insecticide for protection against Red Legged Earth Mite and Blue Oat Mite. Please note, in some cases where high numbers of mites are present, a follow up insecticide treatment may be necessary Thiram fungicide effective against the damping off diseases Pythium and Fusarium Brassica Not harmful to beneficials such as earthworms Cost effective compared with broadacre control options Recommended for All autumn and spring sown brassica crops Contains Gaucho, a systemic insecticide for protection against Red Legged Earth Mite and Blue Oat Mite. Please note, in some cases where high numbers of mites are present, a follow up insecticide treatment may be necessary Thiram fungicide effective against the damping off diseases Pythium and Fusarium Molybenum, an essential trace element for general brassica growth reducing the risk of Whiptail 4

Clover and Lucerne Lime to provide localised ph correction around the seedling Strains of nitrogen-fixing bacteria (rhizobia) specific to clover and lucerne 5

Improve success rates with So what makes PGG Wrightson Seeds tropical and subtropical seeds different from the rest? The answer is simply Envirogro. Envirogro is a special cleaning and treatment process that removes the seed kernel from the husk of the bare seed. This reduces weed seed and other waste material in the final product. The result is improved seed quality, less seed inactivity and better seed flow during sowing. The cleaned seed is then treated with Gaucho insecticide and fertiliser to provide the seedling with improved success rates. Envirogro treated seed versus Understanding the Envirogro process Envirogro Reduces weed seed and other waste material Improves seed quality Less seed inactivity Better seed flow during sowing Improved success when sowing with Envirogro seed Treated with Gaucho for increased insect protection Treated with fertiliser to enhance seedling health Increased risk of weed seed contamination Harder to calibrate seeding equipment Higher rates of dormant and hard seed Seed bridging in sowing equipment Difficult to handle Limited access to necessary nutrients at germination Difficult to accurately match sowing rate to desired plant stand Forage Focus Available For more information on what Envirogro seed treatment can do for you simply visit our website at /learning to download the Envirogro Forage Focus or call your Pasture Specialist Activation Coating Cleaning Bare seed Fresh from harvesting, bare seed has husks, impurities and contaminates such as weeds Seed Cleaning Removes husks Removes weeds Purity tests Germination tests Seed Coating Gaucho insecticide Protective coating added Fertiliser Added Add trace elements Germination tests Live seed testing THIS IS ENVIROGRO Envirogro Easy flow Easy germination Healthy seedlings 6

Understanding Endophytes Benefits Endophyte is a fungus found naturally in many grass species, including ryegrass. It provides the plant with protection from insects, and in return the plant provides the endophyte a place to live and reproduce. PGG Wrightson Seeds have novel endophytes in the following product varieties: Perennial Ryegrass Base AR37 Extreme AR37 Banquet II Endo5 Extreme AR1 Tall Fescue Quantum II MaxP Storage Endophytes are a living organism, as such to maintain high endophyte levels during storage, please observe the following guidelines: Temperature Endophytes survive best in cool conditions with low humidity Keep seed as cool as possible - Store out of direct sunlight - Do not store close to the roof where temperatures are high - Do not store against a north facing wall during warmer months. Ventilation - Good ventilation minimises heat and moisture - Leave space between stacks to allow air to circulate freely - Keep the seed storage area well ventilated Moisture Excess moisture is damaging to both seed and endophytes Keep seed dry: - Store away from doorways - Store off the floor on pallets Stock Turnover Keep storage time to a minimum Ensure regular turnover of seed in stock Re testing for endophyte is a must for any seed carried over from one season to the next. Endophyte tests only stand for 6 months, as such it is recommended that stock is not held any longer than this. Only order your endophyte product as you need it and PGG Wrightson Seeds will ensure that it is delivered to you in great condition. Always refer farmers to storage conditions on packaging. For further information on endophytes visit or ar37.com.au 7

Storing Tropical and Subtropical seeds Storage To maintain high seed quality during storage, please observe the following guidelines: Temperature Seeds survive best in cool conditions with low humidity Keep seed as cool as possible - Store out of direct sunlight - Do not store against a north facing wall during warmer months. - Do not store close to the roof where temperatures are high Ventilation Good ventilation minimises heat and moisture Keep the seed storage area well ventilated Leave space between stacks to allow air to circulate freely Moisture Excess moisture while seed is in storage can be damaging Keep seed dry: - Store away from doorways - Store off the floor on pallets Stock Turnover Keep storage time to a minimum If seed is stored for any period of time the germination percentage can be reduced If seed has been stored for any longer than six months, it is advised to plant a test strip to examine germination results Product Availability Our goal is to deliver our tropical and subtropical mixes to the recipe detailed in the brochure, however if we are unable to achieve this due to stock availability issues, the unavailable product will be replaced with a suitable replacement. Seed Treatment Products contained in seed treatments used by PGG Wrightson Seeds are subject to change without notice.
