12 Tessenderlo Chemie proposes foliar feeding with K-Leaf 52% K2O 46% SO3 That feeds a plant with potassium but its most important role is to stimulate high turgotr of plant that plant can absorb more nutrients from soil.

13 grains potassium demand demand [kgk2o/t grain] Grains only Grains and straw Winter grains 5,6 Spring grains 11,8 13,7 Źródło Potash Development Association, UK, 2005 Peak demand in fild of wheat, giving some 8 t grain yield, shortly before flowering, can achieve up to 10 kg K2O a day and accumulation raches some 200 kg/ha at this time.

14 K-leaf in grains 3-4 treatments I: 4-6 kg/ha at spring vegetation restart. Summer crops tratment at tillering stage (BBCH 21-29) II: 4-6 kg/ha at flag leaf. Malting barley tr-tmnt when ear visible. IIa: 4-6 kg/ha some week or two after II, if high gluten content is demanded. IV: 2-3 kg/ha at last autumn foliar treatment. 14

18 Tessenderlo Chemie promotes foliar application of K-Leaf 52% K2O 46% SO3 That supplies plant with potassium and sulphur but first of all potassium supplied with KLeaf reduces drought stress allowing the plant to absorb more nutrients from soil.

19 Oilseed rape demands for potassium Oilseed rape needs some kg K2O for 1 t of grain yield. About 1,3 1,6 kg K2O per 1 kg N fertilisation. About 20% of total needs are to be accumulated before winter Well K-supplied OSR has some 3-6 C better frost resistance. Spring K shortages hardly ever show any visual effects. Very high demand for S similar to P.

26 Potato demand for potassium Potato usually needs some 6 kg K2O per 1 t of tuber yield. Highest demand during 1 month after tuber initiation. After floering accumulation of potassium slowes down and more potassium transfers from leafs to tubers.

35 Practical matters K-Leaf 52% K2O 46% SO3 ph = 2,9 can be mixed with: Fungicides, insecticides, other foliar fertilisers. We recommend to apply mixed with MgSO4 Natrium borate it dissolves in K-leaf solution by far faster than in pure water. It can not be mixed with calcium (Ca) sources, however it is fine to use K-leaf in hard water. We do not recommend to use with herbicides. 35
