COST Action ES1408: European Network for Algal- Bioproducts Cristina González
COST Action A network of researchers with nationally funded research pursuing the fulfilment of the objectives and deliverables described in the approved proposal (MoU)
No predefined topics COST Action Biomedicine and Molecular Biosciences (BMBS) Chemistry and Molecular Sciences and Technologies (CMST) Earth System Science and Environmental Management (ESSEM) Food and Agriculture (FA) Forests, their Products and Services (FPS) Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Individuals, Societies, Cultures and Health (ISCH) Materials, Physics and Nanosciences (MPNS) Transport and Urban Development (TUD) Join existing Actions The funding is provided via an yearly grant agreement. COST is supported by the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020.
ORGANIZATION- EUALGAE Start of Action 24/03/2015 End of Action 23/03/ countries proposal 3 non COST countries 3 European Bodies 29 Researchers Grant Holder: IMDEA Energy
ORGANIZATION 27 countries 4 non COST countries 147 researchers
ORGANIZATION- EUALGAE
ORGANIZATION 75 researchers The aim is to address constraints related to microalgae productivity: Task (a) Photobioreactor (PBR) design Task (b) Nutrients source (synthetic vs wastewater) and nutrition modes Task (c) Interaction with other co-occurring microorganisms
ORGANIZATION 32 researchers The objective is to focus on the evaluation of innovative harvesting and cell disruption techniques in accordance to the targeted bioproducts Task A) Harvesting and Dewatering Task B) Cell disruption
ORGANIZATION 67 researchers The aim was defined as evaluating techniques to overcome the main bottleneck of the bio-refinery approach in the downstream processing of microalgal high-value products such as PUFAs, antioxidants and pigments
ORGANIZATION 49 researchers The aim of this WG is the development of valorization methods from intermediates and sub-products of microalgal biomass from previous valorization processes. The WG will focus in the optimal valorization process to obtain useful products as food and feed ingredients, chemicals, materials, as well as liquid and gaseous energy carriers.
ORGANIZATION 28 researchers Prior to large-scale production, the environmental impacts of the new pathways for bioenergy and biomaterials production from microalgae have to be assessed.
