1 Professional solutions for Genetic Human Identification and Molecular Diagnostics Product Catalog 2012 AmplGen Ltd. Riga, Lativa
2 2 Catalog AmplGen 2012, ver. #02 Dear colleagues, AmplGen is new European company which registered in Latvia. AmplGen supplies highquality and professional solutions for Genetic Human Identification (HID) and Molecular Diagnostics to forensic and diagnostic laboratories in Europe, Asia and America. AmplGen is new molecular diagnostics supplier but in our company work international and very professional staff. We are available to assist you at any time. Sincerely yours, AmplGen team. Genetic Human Identification We are proud to introduce you new product line for Genetic Human Identification. This product line is unique by it's format, sensitivity and performance. We offer STR multiplex assays for forensic or paternity use. The quality is successfully tested by passing GEDNAP Proficiency Test for forensic DNA typing. The key features are listed below: Highest multiplexity due to five dye chemistry Easy to use design of the kit with minimal contamination risk: the reaction mix provided in ready to use format in separate PCR tubes High stability of the kit due to freeze- dried format of reaction mix that allows to shipp and store up to 3 mont at ambient conditions with total shelf life 12 month Kit contains necessary plastic consumables (PCR- tubes, 96- well plate) and all necessary reagents (allelic ladder, sizing standard, polymerase and control DNA are included) Reaction components are optimized to provide highest sensitivity and tolerance to inhibitors Limit of detection: < 50 pg; optimal concentration range: 0,2 2 ng Direct PCR No need for DNA extraction while working with standard samples (FTA cards, bucal swabs, dry blood stains). Samples can be added directly to reaction (see COrDIS validation study). x
3 3 Catalog AmplGen 2012, ver. #02 COrDIS Plus PCR Amplification Kit For multiplex analysis of 19 STR loci (all CODIS and all ENFSI) plus Amelogenin 13 CODIS loci with all new core loci recommended for extension of European national databases, as well as the most powerful in discrimination STR- locus SE33 and Amelogenin. fluorescent colors for PCR products and orange is for PCR master mix, Sizing standard, Allelic ladder and Control DNA are freeze- dried. This allows to ship and store kit at room temperature up to 3 month. picograms of total genomic DNA and optimal amount of DNA added in reaction is nanograms. COrDIS Plus is a short tandem repeat (STR) multiplex assay with 19 STR markers and Amelogenin for gender determination. It combines all 13 CODIS loci (D3S1358, D5S818, D7S820, D8S1179, D13S317, D16S539, D18S51, D21S11, CSF1PO, FGA, TH01, TPOX, and VWA), 5 new core loci recommended for extension of European national databases (D1S1656, D2S441, D10S1248, D12S391 and D22S1045), as well as the most powerful in discrimination STR- locus SE33. PCR primers have been designed to fit into a single amplification reaction with PCR products less than 440 bp, taking in account all known alleles so far. For this, PCR- products are labelled with blue, green, yellow and red fluorescent colors by using a sizing standard labelled in a fifth, orange color. Full STR- profiles can be generated, when at least 200 pg of non- degraded genomic DNA are used for PCR. The sizing standard S450 contains 24 DNA fragments. The Allelic ladder included in each kit. The COrDIS Plus PCR Amplification Kir is for all forensic applications and paternity testing, not for use in diagnostic COrDIS Plus 25 ul format 12 x 8 reactions (rxn) C20_108S COrDIS Plus 25 ul format 1 x 96 reactions (rxn) C20_196P * 96 x 0.2 ml plate (perforated plate, that can be divided into 4 x 24 plates)
