9 Who is the Highway Safety Research Group (HSRG)? A division of the Information Systems and Decision Sciences Department (ISDS) within the E. J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University

10 HSRG Responsible for collecting, maintaining, storing, and reporting crash data captured from law enforcement agencies throughout the state of Louisiana Currently, 170+ LAEs utilize LACRASH

11 HSRG Being part of the LSU community, allows the HSRG to capitalize on: Software agreements Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, SAS, Symantec Endpoint Protection, etc.. State pricing on hardware University s network access

12 HSRG Being part of the LSU community, also allows the HSRG to capitalize on: Student workers and graduate assistants Information Systems and Decision Sciences, Computer Science, Geography, MBA, Mass Communication, Internal Auditing, System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Criminal Justice, Management HSRG employs on average 18 GAs and 20 student workers a semester
