2 ONLINE SUPPORT FOR OPTIMAL SUPPORT AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL The Online Support is our latest solution for access to all online services from SEW-EURODRIVE. Logically divided into the process steps Engineering & selection, Inquiry & order, Delivery & material flow and Startup & maintenance, it allows you to directly access the functions you want depending on activity or interest. For example, if you are a planner or design engineer and want to configure a product, then Engineering & selection is right for you. Or are you looking for CAD data, documentation, downloadable software or technical information on your product? You can find it all under Data & documents. You navigate in Online Support freely without having to log in. You only need to log in with your address and password to access functions with a key icon that require your specific customer data. You then have access to more functions and you can also configure custom settings, such as CAD formats, languages for documentation or search settings.

3 Product configurator Our product configurator is the ideal tool for choosing and configuring SEW-EURODRIVE products. Select your product category and the base model you want, along with numerous variants and options later on. Finish by reviewing a summary of your configuration and technical data. All of the documents and CAD models you need are available in the shopping cart once configuration is complete. You can now start a request or order the product directly. You can also create a personal or company-wide template in the shopping cart in order to use the configuration later or on a regular basis. Variant management Variant management is a service we provide to assist you in the standardization and reduction of product variants and in simplifying your master data management. For example, variant management helps you sustainably improve your design processes and processes for companies working with you. Use extensive filtering and comparing options to select a product from a database of products you already use. You can refer to numerous technical product features, such as motor power or output torque, while searching for a product. Even end users can benefit from variant management, since it allows you to significantly reduce the amount of spare SEW-EURODRIVE parts you have to keep on hand. Access to this database solution must be purchased. Shopping cart The central Online Support shopping cart allows you to submit requests or orders for all current products, spare parts or documentation around the clock. This is how it works: Select a product, log in with your account, edit delivery information and then submit the request or order. You can also give us your material number, project number, project name and other reference data using the shopping cart and we will use this information in subsequent communication with you. Your request or order is sent directly to your responsible sales office and processed there. You then receive your quotation or order confirmation as usual. Transaction overview The transaction overview contains orders, quotations, templates and service transactions. You can search in all transactions and review their status, or track shipments with our courier. Diverse search criteria allow you to find the right transaction quickly. You can also search your transactions using reference information such as a material number, as long as you include this information in the request or order. The table columns displayed can be shown or hidden in order to give you an optimized overview. Downloading relevant documentation is also easy in the transaction overview, even for entire projects.

6 Data & documents Data & documents contain the CAD data, documentation, technical product data and software you need. You can generate CAD data using the serial number or type designation of the product without having to sign up. If you download CAD data regularly, it is better to log in to your account so you can save the CAD formats you need in your search settings. They will then already be selected for your next search. Do you also need documentation in addition to CAD data? Your search term is stored and you can simply select the right documentation type from the list. New: Wiring diagrams and dimension sheets are also available for download. If you know your order or quotation number, simply log in, enter it and select the specific data and documents. Selecting replacement products or spare parts This function allows you to select entire replacement products or spare parts. Entering the SEW serial number returns information on the product, technical data and CAD data. We also show you a 3D view of the product. If you are logged in and have the necessary authorization, you can select spare parts supported by a detailed drawing. Your benefit: You can directly see the availability of the spare parts you need. We also offer appropriate substitutes for older materials. For some products, you can see wear parts such as brake linings that you can order at the same time. You can put everything in the shopping cart and then submit a request or place an order right away. CDM database CDM Maintenance Management provides transparency and safety for your entire system. It is based on taking inventory of available drive technology (in the system or warehouse) and entering the results in an online database. This can then be accessed through the Online Support. Centrally recording all data is the basis for a targeted estimate and the scheduling of periodically required maintenance. The database displays required activities like maintenance and repair. This means a custom maintenance and reaction scenario can be defined for every drive component and executed by our service experts. Troubleshooting Troubleshooting offers a guided analysis to help you eliminate the failure, and indicates possible causes as well as appropriate corrective measures. This online application makes the timeconsuming search in operating instructions a thing of the past. The troubleshooting function is based on the failure tables of all available operating instructions from SEW-EURODRIVE. Just enter the serial number or type designation of your product to start the failure analysis. We will directly show you possible causes of the failure, and specify measures to rectify it. At the end of the failure analysis, you decide which of the failure rectification measures you want to use. Personal settings Personal settings allows you to edit your account information or request additional rights and functions. You can also configure and save useful settings, such as the language for documentation, your preferred CAD data formats and much more. Your settings will be applied each time you use the Online Support.
