2 Abstract A central tenet of enterprise digital transformation is effective cloud utilization. Cloud-first strategies serve the dual goals of simplifying business processes and ensuring scalability unburdening IT and development teams and supporting full immersion in state-of-the-art concepts (microservices, anyone?). And while such foundational transformation may seem daunting, APIs are here to minimize friction and ease the way. APIs accelerate cloud integration and facilitate information flow, thus enabling speedier transitions. These benefits extend beyond digital transformation, where companies and developers are leveraging APIs and the cloud to cultivate innovation.
