EXPLORER EXPLORER The Explorer level is the most foundational tier of service that HOSTING offers, providing IT pros with the platform and tools necessary for disaster recovery, including access to our self-service portal. HOSTING provides monitoring, management and 24 x 7 support to ensure mission-critical applications are protected. VOYAGER VOYAGER The Voyager level gives IT leaders all the DR services of Explorer, plus day-to-day management and guided testing that empowers you to effectively co-manage your DR solution. 5 The following pages outline the individual components included in each service level (marked with appropriate icons to indicate which tier the component belongs to. Support 24 x 7 Phone & Ticket Support Customers receive access to the HOSTING Support Team at any time of day or night via phone and ticket system. Self-Service Portal HOSTING's Self Service Portal provides visibility to both current and historical protection performance as well as the ability to manage all business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) tasks - all within a single platform using the off-site backup feature. Failovers can also be executed through the portal or via the HOSTING Support Team. Disaster Recovery Monitoring HOSTING continuously monitors the customers replication status and latency (RPO) to ensure that the replication process is functioning appropriately. Our Disaster Recovery Monitoring watches for changes in data storage environments, boosting protection and simplifying the disaster recovery process. HOSTING includes custom performance charts for visibility on throughput, bandwidth and more. Disaster Recovery Management Disaster Recovery Management HOSTING provides full management of the Disaster Recovery platform, including full installation and ongoing management and maintenance. With no application or storage changes required, setup and changes are made simple and easy. In addition, Voyager and Pioneer customers receive the proactive disaster recovery features and services indicated by the appropriate icons below. Full Orchestration The HOSTING Full Orchestration service enables automation of failover, failback, reverse protection and disaster recovery testing to provide the customer with little to no business interruption. HOSTING provides the fastest and most efficient replication with combined with near-zero RPO/RTO. Recovery Audit Report HOSTING's Recovery Audit Report details each step in the recovery process to predict recovery times. The report includes WAN consumption, IOPS, Recovery Point Objective and Recovery Time Objectives (RPO/RTO), and source VM resource utilization to provide insight for recovery resource planning. Continuous Data Protection HOSTING continuously protects the customer's data to enable recovery from any disruption. Checkpoints are completed every few seconds and recovery points are provided for up to two weeks. Continuous Data Protection provides the option to recover many granular points in time to minimize data loss and delivers the best RPO and RTO of any data protection solution. 6 Production Workloads Protection HOSTING provides scalable protection and recovery of multi-vm applications together with consistency groupings. Virtual Protection Groups (VPGs) guarantee that all resources supporting a single workload are protected for consistent application recovery. VPGs also support VMs across hosts, clusters, storage and high availability. Target RPO/RTO Alert HOSTING Target Alerts ensure customers are pro-actively notified when the RPO/RTO threshold is met. Alerts are escalated to our Cloud Recovery Team who quickly determines and communicates the appropriate corrective action. Replication Prioritization When replicating from your premise to a hosted DR environment, HOSTING works in partnership with the customer to determine server group priorities, ensuring that groups with a higher change rate can utilize more bandwidth when necessary - driving alignment between IT and business objectives to satisfy current needs and priorities. The runbook includes a customer contact tree, solution description, plan assumptions and considerations, responsibility matrix and failover/testing processes. HOSTING works with your team to define successful recovery criteria to ensure the plan is executed as desired. Guided Disaster Recovery Test HOSTING's Cloud Architect guides the customer through on-hours failover testing of the recovery plan at the customer's request. Voyager customers can request one test per year and Pioneer customers can request two tests per year. Architecture and Disaster Recovery Design HOSTING provides a fully configured disaster recovery solution to meet the customer's desired business outcomes and recovery time objectives. HOSTING Cloud Systems Administrators design the solution by identifying key components of business critical systems and inter-dependent components with the proper recovery order. The Administrator provides architectural recommendations to help make disaster recovery more efficient and designs the best replication method to meet customer needs. Guidance & Expertise Advanced Disaster Recovery Runbook The Advanced DR Runbook documents a highly detailed technical disaster recovery plan for the customer's production environment. Annual Disaster Recovery Exercise HOSTING fully simulates the failover strategy at any time in the customers production environment. The production site stays up and running for users while the testing takes place at the failover site. 7 The customer is responsible for testing and confirming the application functionality and availability in recovery. The customer should also take the steps necessary to restore any application functionality. Any changes to the recovery plan will be documented by HOSTING. Architecture Analysis and Review HOSTING Cloud Systems Administrators provide an annual architecture analysis and review to identify resource dependencies, recovery time bottlenecks and potential DR challenges. You'll receive updated production and DR environment diagrams along with insights and guidance from the results.
