TWO TO THE DOCUMENTS NOVEMBER 15, 2013 The following changes, additions, or deletions shall be made to the following documents; all other conditions shall remain the same. I. CLARIFICATIONS Item# 1. Question: The materials included in spec section sheet vinyl floor coverings are Mannington commercial and Toli "Mature" woods, neither of which are used on this project. The materials used on this project are Forbo Marmoleum "Real" linoleum and Armstrong Timberline" sheet vinyl. Will specifications be issued to cover these materials? Answer: Mannington and Toli products currently listed in spec section are incorrect. Forbo Marmoleum and Armstrong Timberline items specified on the drawings are the correct products. 2. Question: Both the Forbo linoleum and the Armstrong sheet vinyl will receive heat welded seams. There will be one seam which cannot be welded. This is the seam between the linoleum and the sheet vinyl. The linoleum rod will not bond to the sheet vinyl and the sheet vinyl weld rod will not bond to this linoleum. Please advise how to address this seam. Answer: Per Forbo, the linoleum weld rod will bond to sheet vinyl products with Marmoweld welding rod. 3. Question: Is there a specification for the existing flooring which will need to patch in? Answer: Existing flooring in (E) Waiting Area is Marmoleum Real and Fresca. Remove flooring in its entirety in lieu of patching. New flooring to match existing product, style and pattern. 4. Question: Sheet A-602 indicates a Privacy Curtain specification FBR-2 under the finish specifications. The finish schedule room Radiology Exam Room 2 under remarks references FBR-2. Please clarify in plan view where the Privacy Curtain is to be located. Answer: FBR-2: Privacy Curtain is no longer included in project. 5. Question: Detail 23/A-521 callout in room 1-506A on the Renovation Reflected Ceiling Plan on sheet A-102 references a Unistrut@ Partition- Parallel detail. Answer: Incorrect detail reference.
