2 Welcome to the Siplast 2014 Contractor Review Thanks for participating in our Moving Forward in 2014 presentation. This is our effort to communicate what s new at Siplast and share with you ways we can build on our partnership moving forward. In this presentation, we will: Introduce you to some new, cutting-edge developments and product line expansions. Update you on some of the products we have introduced in recent years. Review Siplast tools and programs designed to communicate helpful information and make access to Siplast information easier. Explore opportunities that will allow us to build our business relationship.

4 Introducing Paracoat PMMA Coating PMMA catalyzed roof coating. Ponding water not excluded. Cures in 45 minutes. Better performing alternative to acrylic-type products. White standard color. Beige and gray Special Made-to-Order with no up-charge. Custom colors will require a 20-can minimum order (equal to about 45 sqs). Color choice will determine up-charge. One coat application. Substrate temperature a maximum of 95 F. UL Class A up to ½ inch.

6 Paracoat Application Paracoat can be applied to the following substrates: SBS (smooth or granule-surfaced cap sheet). Granule-surfaced APP. Asphalt (primer required). PVC (peel test required). Hypalon (peel test required). Other substrates evaluated on a job to job basis.

7 Paracoat Application Application Low-pressure wash to remove all dirt and debris (750 psi). Let dry thoroughly. Mix Paracoat in pail 3-4 minutes. Apply catalyst to pail and blend thoroughly. Apply material to properly prepared substrate with an 18-inch roller. While material is being applied, back roll with another 18-inch roller to ensure even application. 20 minutes waterproof cures in 45 minutes.

9 Paracoat PMMA Coating Product Guarantees 10-Year Limited Material (material replacement). 5-Year Extended Guarantee for Siplast Paradiene systems still under warranty. No exclusions for ponding water.

10 Introducing Parafast Insulation Adhesive Parafast Insulation Adhesive is a low-rise, fast setting foam adhesive. Large Volume Applications: 5-gallon Bag-in-Box Two-component (parts A & B). Regular Grade (minimum 40 F). Requires Pace Cart.

11 Parafast Insulation Adhesive Also available for small volume applications: Parafast Insulation Adhesive C: Box of 4 cartridges (1500 ml each). Regular Grade (minimum 40 F). Winter Grade (0 to 65 F).

14 Roof Asset Identification Technology Siplast takes our commitment to producing quality materials to the next level with RoofTag RF Technology for Roof Asset Identification. By embedding an RF Chip in each roll, customers will have the ability to not only specify quality, but verify that it shows up on each Siplast project. The RFID tags work by electrical inductance. RoofTag works in the frequency range of 900 mhz and functions for the life of the material. Production information is written to the tag much like a tiny hard drive. RoofTags are specially designed to withstand production and application temperatures.

16 Important Product Information RoofTag is a Special Made-to-Order Product: 21-day lead time. The up-charge for all products is $2.00 per roll. There is no minimum roll quantity per order. Siplast cannot provide RoofTag for the following roll goods: Veral. Parabase-type products. Paratread and PA-750 Protection Boards.

17 & the Siplast COA Program RoofTag, combined with the Certificate of Analysis program, provides the ability to identify a membrane and access the membrane quality information before & after installation. No other manufacturer offers this roof asset identification technology.

18 Moving Forward In 2014 Product Updates

19 FM New Product Approvals SFT Adhesive (solvent-free) approved as a substitute for PA-311 in all current Approvals. Securock approved for new high uplift values over metal and concrete decks. Paradiene 20 SA approved as a temporary roof.

20 Eco-Activ Smog-Eating, Depolluting Cap Sheet ULe performed independent testing to verify the claim that Eco-Activ does what we say it does. Eco-Activ now carries the UL Environment symbol with the validated claim.

21 How Effective Are Eco-Activ Roof Membranes? Annually, a 200-square roof covered with a Siplast Eco-Activ membrane can offset the nitrogen oxide pollution (NOx) produced by more than 50 light passenger vehicles. Offset rates are averages and vary by location due to variances in atmospheric conditions and UV levels. *Based on studies using estimated conditions (sunlight, humidity, and NOx) for Los Angeles, and mileage of the average U.S. household vehicle (11,300 miles).

22 Eco-Activ Roof Membranes and LEED The ULe mark is a very positive step toward acceptance in the LEED Building Rating System program. The ULe test data and other supporting information has been submitted to USGBC requesting a LEED Pilot Credit.

23 Insulation Update Latent moisture in newly poured Structural Lightweight Concrete (SLC) creates problems. Moisture accumulation Adhesion loss Adhesive issues Metal and fastener corrosion Insulation R-value loss

24 Insulation Update Roof system performance issues. "...problems which could include: loss of insulating value, facer degradation, and physical damage to the insulation, fasteners and adhesives.

25 Insulation Update Siplast NVS Lightweight Insulating Concrete bonds directly to newly poured Structural Lightweight Concrete (SLC). Using lightweight insulating concrete is a reliable solution to going over SLC decks. NVS and Insulcel are unaffected by high moisture from SLC decks. Lightweight insulating concrete provide both insulation and slope-to-drain.
