3 Tessuti Technical fabrics Flame retardant In case of fire, fabrics are one of the main fire accelerants. Flame retardant and self-extinguishing properties are essential not only for the safety in working spaces, but also in residential environments. Medit can count on a collection of unique and flame-retardant fabrics. Antibacterial Antibacterial fabrics contrast the transfer of germs, reduce the risk of cross-contamination in hospitals, schools and retirement homes improving environment quality and patient health condition. Fungicide fabrics are the perfect solution in moist environments, they also prevent mould. Suitable for workplaces The ideal fabric for workplaces regulates brightness, imises natural lighting and avoids reflection and glare, still ensuring the imum outside view. Fabrics with different opening levels guarantee different degrees of transparency depending on sunlight exposure, maintaining the building external homogeneity. Thermal protection Thermal load reduction is one of the key factors for buildings energy efficiency. Medit fabrics are characterised by low transmission and high energy reflectance and reduce the heat penetration into the room.
