2 Introduction Our aim at Treetop Garden Buildings is to offer the widest range of good quality products, options, finishes and accessories to our customer. We offer what we believe to be the widest choice of sizes and styles available from any UK garden building supplier, in addition all of our buildings are delivered direct to your home and in most mainland areas can be erected by our fitting teams if required. Many of the buildings in this brochure are available in a choice of finishes, e.g. all traditionally built buildings have the option of a high quality top coat treatment which also brings about a seven year rot resistance guarantee. Similarly traditional buildings can be prepared in a colour of your choice, when choosing this option the seven year rot resistance guarantee also applies. Your retailer will have details of the colours available. The traditionally constructed buildings in this brochure are built to a high standard, all are clad in red deal and are given a first coat of spirit based timber treatment in the factory prior to despatch. The Heavy duty options are solid structures with substantial roof trusses and the benefit of nominal 2" x 2" framing throughout. For those wanting exceptional strength there is the option to upgrade to 18mm thick cladding including the floor. The summerhouses in this range are outstanding, it is difficult to portray what excellent value for money this range represents simply from a photograph. The modular buildings are generally constructed on the basis of a sequence of 900mm panels, giving the advantage of easy access on delivery and a different range of width and depth measurements, (these buildings can be carried through most houses if necessary). Due to the palletised method of despatch the buildings are not fully treated (floor joists are pressure treated) this does, however, mean that the buildings can be painted by the customer in any of the proprietary paints and treatments available in the high street stores. The Cedar buildings are produced by one of the most experienced garden building manufacturing teams in the UK, the cladding for these buildings is Canadian Western Red Cedar, an expensive timber but one that is rich in colour varying from almost white through pale reddish browns to a deep mahogany colour, it is naturally rot resistant with a life expectancy of more than 20 years and requires treatment only to maintain the rich red overall colour. Cedar also has an aromatic pine needle odour which most people find pleasant and relaxing. A list of options is given at the back of this brochure which allow you to customise your building to your own preference whether it be for appearance or the ever more important security aspect. In addition to the vast range of standard buildings we are happy to consider a limited number of bespoke projects.
